Meh...Posted Aug 22, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel was okay, but the staff was kind of unprofessional looking. Also, the area wasn't great. Lots of noise from the highway.

a baseball and water park weekendPosted Aug 18, 2015 on Hotels
We enjoyed our stay very much. The location of the hotel in proximity to the ballpark and the water park was perfect.

Everything you can ask forPosted Aug 16, 2015
Pros: Quietness and cleanliness
Cons: It is on a "one-way" frontage road next to a Texas highway (but rooms are obviously insulated and very quiet).
Location: Your choice
Quick check-in. Rooms well equipped (microwave, refrigerator, ironing board, iron, blow dryer, LARGE LG HD TV with full complement of channels, to include 2 HBO channels. Stayed on 3rd floor; very quiet. Full breakfast buffet (one day scrambled eggs with ham; next day scrambled eggs with Western-style fillings; repeated day by day). Very clean.

Bad attitude of staff after our check out.Posted Aug 12, 2015 on Hotels
This was a very important family get together and although the family as a whole thoroughly enjoyed our trip it ended on a very sad note. An heiloom baby blanket that now belongs to my 4 year old grandson was left in the bed and 3 hours into our drive home my grandson was totally unconsolable we immediately called the hotel and were told they hadn't cleaned the room yet. We asked that they check the bed as we know that is where we left it. We called back an hour later and were told that the room had been cleaned as soon as we had left and it may be in the laundry. We called back another hour later and were told they would check the laundry, by now we were very dissappointed in the responses we were getting. yet again we were given a promise that they would call us. We called again that evening and were told that it had not been found in the laundry. How is this possible? it was laying on the bed when we left and yes it was our fault that we left it there but no one at the hotel cared to help. We probably will never stay at another Best Western and will definately let all our friends know of our dissappointment. The blanket is old and not worth anything to anyone else but my family and it means everything to my grandson.

Nice hotel,close to AT&T Stadium and 6 Flags.Posted Aug 11, 2015
Pros: Clean, friendly staff, close to local attractions in Arlington.
Cons: No hot tub. In August, that wasn't a big deal, but if we went back in the winter, we would want a hot tub.
Location: It's close to all the Arlington attractions - the Ball Park, AT&T Stadium, and 6 Flags.
We had a very nice stay at this hotel. It was only a few miles from the Stadium and 6 Flags, and easy to get to both. The room was clean, the staff was very friendly. Price was good. We would stay there again.

Bring Your Own Pillows and Bottled WaterPosted Aug 11, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel is right beside a busy interstate, which isn't a huge problem except when a vehicle with loud pipes drives by at 2am. Also, the pillows on the bed are TINY - bring your own. I would also bring bottled water as the water didn't taste good. Overall, my stay was nice - the rooms are very clean and up to date.
