outdated

This hotel is very outdated, stuck in the 70's! The employees friendliness was by far the best part.

Need to be renovated and exterminated for bed bugs

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: I like the convenience of stores and transportation close by. I did a lot of walking in between sessions and enjoyed the park near by.
Cons: Renovation
Location: Cinemas, park for playing and walking. Train for travel and many food locations. All within walking distance.
My room did not have a working phone and whenever I needed to address the desk, I had to do it in person. Maid forgot to leave clean towels and when I went to the front desk, they were all out. I had to constantly ask for towels, ice bucket (which I never received), and coffee pots. My back and arms was torn to pieces by bites from bed bugs. I stripped my bed down and discovered they were on the blanket. I reported it to the maid and the front desk. The bathroom is loaded with stain on the sink, floor and wall. The tub has mildew around the corners of the tub and the shower curtains need to be trashed. The carpet need cleaning because I believe bugs reside in them. My first night I had a bug bite on my foot. From that point on, I would not walk around with my flip flops on. The lighting in the room was also not good and one of the problems was I did not have a bulb in the lamp. Finally, I was totally upset because I checked on my reservation, although it was noted on my confirmation letter I did not need to. But the problem I was not notified I would need a $100 deposit. I was totally unprepared. This information needs to be posted or definitely idenitified to the individual before they get there.

Internet connectability is absolutely terrible.

Posted Aug 21, 2015
had two lap tops and tried various location in the hotel. Even showing good signal strength was never able to stay on line for more than ten minutes at a time if I could connect at all. Also there television connection reminded me of the old days when there was no cable or satellite TV. Picture was snowy on some channels. Also had to pay extra to get a microwave and small fridge in my room. Granted the price was only $13.00 dollars a week but the fridge had no shelves in it all. They were all missing. When it comes time to check out you will need to wait in one of their offices until someone verifies you left the room as is, before they will refund your $100.00 dollar room deposit. If you just need a cheap place to sleep at night while you are out during the day, I don't think you will find anything cheaper if the location is right for you. I will say the water pressure in my shower was excellent. Over all I wasn't too surprised about the condition of the hotel. The staff is friendly and they try their best to accommodate needs.

Nice and close to airport

They have good customer service. But some rooms need to renovate and spray. My bathroom was leaking and there were some ants everywhere in my room.

Staff had bad Indian accent. Very hard to understand!!!! He didn't know his job! Forgot parking pass and receipts and asked the same questions over again because he forgot my answers! Rude and hotel felt run down and trashy! Cameras everywhere and made me feel like I was going to be mugged. Not upscale at all but very clean rooms and very comfortable beds!

More than 1 hr to check in!

Posted Aug 13, 2015
I arrive 5:30PM and had to wait more than one hour to check in! I really do not understand what was the problem! First it was the system, then that they did not get the Expedia confirmation! I have to called Expedia to send again my confirmation! After that I have to wait 30" more because! I do not know! They could not give me an smart reason! It was the first time that something like this happened to me! I sleep more than 75 nights a year in hotels! That was very weird! The staff looks very out of control!

NOT safe, clean , or friendly

Posted Aug 13, 2015
The front desk staff was not friendly. There is no continental breakfast as the websites states there is. There is a $100 deposit upon check-in that isn't refunded for 5 days after check out. My room's A/C did not work properly and they would not move me to a new room. The halls are very loud with kids screaming and slamming doors all hours of the night. Our toilet leaked with every flush. There were hairs all over the bathtub and the drain was clogged with more hair. The indoor pool is out of service most of the time. I assume the hotel saves money by not running A/C anywhere in the building- so lobbies, halls, etc. were VERY hot. I did not feel safe anywhere on the property. Looked like lots of homeless stay here quite often. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Our shuttle pick up from the airport took over an hour (and the hotel is 3 min away). The A/C in the shuttle was also not running- driver said it was broken. If you use your 1 toilet paper roll, it is $1.50 for every extra roll after that. This place is ridiculous. Every 5 minutes there was something new.
