Being an Austinite, you won't often find me waxing on about the beauty of Dallas - a little city pride at play, I suspect. But when I was wandering in downtown Dallas and came across this scene - brought to life by both the wonderful blue hour and the colorful fountains - I was able to make an exception and go ahead and take the shot...and feel proud of it! From http://nomadicpursuits.com/ One thing you can't deny about #Texas is the beautiful #sunrises and sunsets

Reunion Tower is a 561 foot observation tower in Dallas and part of the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
The tower looks like a ball on a stick and referred to as a “golf ball,” a “dandelion,” a “microphone,” and the rather crass nickname, “Dallas Phallus”.
#cinematrove - In the movies it makes an appearance as a symbol of a futuristic society in the 1980 film The Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge is a bridge in #Dallas, Texas which spans the Trinity River and was built as part of the Trinity River Project. Designed by Santiago Calatrava, it is one of three such #bridges planned to be built over the Trinity; the second, the Margaret McDermott Bridge, is currently under construction. The span parallels the Continental Avenue Bridge, a walking bridge.
The bridge is named for Margaret Hunt Hill, an heiress and philanthropist.
