The check in staff were nice and room was very clean. I didn't like that they charge almost $30 a night for self parking per car. If your visiting family and not riding together that's another $50 to $60 to add per night. In addition there is no microwave in the room. When I asked about it, they said it was because microwaves were a fire hazard. I guess they've never stayed at other hotels before. Not a deal breaker but very inconvenient to take your food from the 9th floor through the lobby to use their microwave and carry it back up. Little things like these make a huge difference in the customer experience.

Plenty of area to park and it still cost $25/night. Charge for WiFi as well. Mildew in shower. It’s loud next to I35 but real convenient to UT Southwest Medical campus. Staff very courteous and helpful, especially Tammy in the restaurant. Will consider different hotel when we return.

Our suite was perfect for a family of 5. Very roomy. Vanity/sink being separate from shower worked out well. Pillows left a lot to be desired and wished they had breakfast included. That is just something that is helpfully and convenient for family vacations. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Employees were nice, my room was cozy, the restroom shower was a bit dirty I found a hair in the shower before use. Other than that I thought everything else was clean and nice.

Great hotel overall. They allowed us a late checkout and that was really nice of them to do. My only complaint was the room was really cold and the heater didn’t work. It’s also by the freeway so it’s pretty loud outside. Some people may like that white noise and some may not. It didn’t bug me too much though.

Its a great hotel but i don't know why you should pay their own parking lot to stay in their hotel but separate like thats just ridiculous other than that its a really good place

Ok let me just say, definitely not worth the $400 paid! My husband and I came in from out of town to celebrate our anniversary. Our reservation was for 2 nights! Our first night was spent freezing throughout the night. We did not have any hot water nor did the heat work. I tried calling the front desk multiple times but the phone just rang. My husband went down and was told there was nothing that could be done being that it was after 11pm so the remaining of that night we were freezing and had to take cold showers which is very uncomfortable and unacceptable. The next day I spoke with Sydney and she had an engineer come to the room but he said a valve needed to be changed for the water and was unsure about the heat as he said he never seen a thermostat that wouldn’t allow you to increase the temperature so we were finally placed us in another room with heat and hot water, THANKFULLY!

This place was amazing. The staff were amazing. My suite was beautiful. Al thought there were some cons like my room not being fully cleaned. There was some hair on the floor which was the same hair on my shower and towels and the chicken in the restaurant was not all the way cooked and the next morning my pancakes were a little dry. The customer service and the beauty of the hotel and my cold glass of wine outweighed all of those cons. Really honestly a good place to stay

I had a bad experience during my stay at the Marriott. I was disturbed by noise from other guests, including loud music, slamming doors, and banging on the walls, which kept me up from 2 am to 5 am the first night and continued even after I was relocated to another floor. During the day, you could hear the housekeepers clean the other rooms. Absolutely no peace. The staff was unhelpful and unfriendly when I approached them. They pretended they could not understand English, but they could. They were just being rude. Anyway, I was charged the deposit plus the total cost of the room at check-in, and when I checked out, I was asked no questions. However, I later found out that the hotel was trying to charge an additional $500 to my credit card without any explanation. I tried to speak to the management, but the front desk staff refused to let me do so and lied to me instead. I am very upset by this experience and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. If you like noise and less-than-great customer service, then ignore my review. The only good thing, the location was convenient.

The hotel was nice, but the bed was uncomfortable. The front desk staff was exceptional, but the breakfast staff questioned us 3-4 times about our prepaid breakfast. I walked away feeling like I did something wrong. I even double checked to make sure we paid for breakfast in advance... Even though it was confirmed at check in.

Great Christmas stay 2023
Absolutely best Stay in a hotel I’ve selected. From the very start the service was top tier with a warm welcome and helpfulness. Quick check in once in room ❤️OMG very clean and spacious with table and desk areas to set. The bed slept wonderfully. To top it all off on the wake up there is a marvelous buffet spread of breakfast that’s just great all in all a very pleasant and welcoming place to be.

The housekeeper came to knock on our door 3 times. First at 8am, even though check our was at 12pm. Please be mindful that parking is not included and they will charge you $25 for parking per night.

Stolen Item-Beware.
The hotel room was spacious and comfortable. The bed could use an update! The problem I REALLY have with the hotel is that the staff has a thief within. I left a $150 hairdryer in the room and it was "NOT FOUND". This tells me that it was stolen and the manager told my husband that all their staff is honest and wouldn't steal. He is basically calling my husband a liar who drove down to the hotel to check for it in person. He drove 45 minutes out of his way to check for it to be told that no one there would take it. MANAGEMENT handled this very poorly. Very disappointed in Marriott for the way their management dealt with us.
