Conference at Hotle

Pros: Location is good, mall and restaurants across the street.
Cons: Room maintenance needs attention.
Location: Shopping and Conference center
The conference center is good. The hotel needs maintenance. The rooms are noisy, running water sounds, thin walls, and slamming doors were tolerated all night. The wall paper was peeling off the walls, in multiple spots. Disappointed with Embassy Suites.

Bring your disinfecting wipes

Pros: Lobby and atrium were pleasant.
Cons: Serious change in housekeeping management.
Location: Decent mall across the street.
I try to be understanding when hotels have issues, but this time was too much. On entering our room for the first time, we found the toilet seat covered in a broad spray of dried up, yellow/brown urine. It was absolutely disgusting so we immediately called guest services, where we received a curt "we'll send someone up to clean it" response. After 15 minutes, we got tired of waiting and headed to the front desk to ask for a different room. The clerk immediately gave us keys to another room. Unfortunately, this one not only had a spray of dried urine on the toilet seat, it had a used Q-tip covered in ear wax laying on the minibar counter next to the coffee maker. We disinfected this room ourselves with hand sanitizer because we were pushed for time to get to a meeting and couldn't wait for the hotel to respond. The housekeeping manager showed up, thanked us for "pointing out the problems" and stated that this "wasn't up to their standards". Oh, and he left us a couple bags of chips and two candy bars by way of apology. If you are planning to stay at this Embassy Suites, be sure to bring plenty of disinfecting wipes.

Good but not great

Pros: Staff was excellent and the location is great.
Cons: I feel that maybe keeping a floor free for guests that aren't associated with a conference or competition could make the experience better.
My wife and I stayed on a Saturday night to celebrate our anniversary. The location in Frisco is great, but the hotel seemed fairly dated. Apparently there was a martial arts competition at the hotel and a cheerleading competition next door. The hotel was full of families with several children. My wife and I love kids, but having them run laps around your floor was a little concerning. The pool area looked great, but there were so many kids swimming and using the Jacuzzi, that we decided to pass on it. Our room was nice, but there was a used washcloth hanging over the shower rod that hadn't been picked up. Breakfast was nice, but not exceptional. Staff was very helpful

Close to shopping, restaurants and entertainment.

Pros: The location
Cons: Their waiters were not the friendliest of people. All other employees were great.
Location: Shopping, great dining (Perry's), minor league sports. Great location.
Check in was great, easy. Most hotel staff was very friendly, except the waiter in their restaurant, the gentlemen at breakfast and the bar tender, they all seemed as if they were forced to be there and didn't really care.

very convenient for North Dallas activities.

Pros: Breakfast
Cons: free parking and free Wi-Fi.
Location: Next to mall with plenty of shops.
Very friendly staff. Nice room and comfortable bed. Real good breakfast. Clean and nice looking hotel.

Overall very enjoyable stay. The only downsides I saw were the sauna not working in the pool area and the ice maker on our floor being out of ice. The bathroom floor and sheets appeared to have something red, possibly blood (creepy) on them so for housekeeping to make sure those are taken care of. Overall the stay was wonderful and relaxing with plenty of shopping within walking distance.
