Aging location and not the type of room i selected

Not sure why I did not get the room type that I initially booked with Hotels.com but rather assigned to another room that did not have sink in bathroom. Hotel staff claimed that they could not move me to another room because Hotels.com booked this type of room for me. This particular hotel is slightly aged as the room smelled a little like mold or dampness. I will not use hotels.com or embassy suites again. The breakfast was good though, and no other issues aside from this.
