The hotel seems to be a converted apartment complex. The rooms are not connected to the lobby, they are in separate buildings that you have to walk or drive to depending on which one you get. Good thing we had good weather.
No elevator but only 2 stories. Room was clean but unremarkable, very basic I would say. No smart television so you can't stream. There are just a list of channels available like live TV. The TV was in between the sofa and one of the beds. So if there is someone on each bed, the one on the far can't really see the TV very well. There is a small kitchen with full size fridge, sink, stove etc so for long term, that's a good deal. However, there was no hot water available in the morning so we had to take cold showers! Front desk told me they knew about it and were working on it. Offered points for the inconvenience. Haven't seen any yet.
Breakfast was ok. A little bit of everything, hot and cold (eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal, pastries, hard boiled eggs, breakfast juices etc). Not bad for the $100 a night price but the dining area was very dark. Wasn't sure where to turn the lights on. There is a pool outdoors but it was locked that evening so we couldn't enjoy that. Location is ok, close to UT Dallas which is why we were there. Burger place next door that you can walk to.
Have to say that if I were to return to the area, I'd explore other options. But if there was nothing else decent available, it wouldn't be a terrible choice.
