Great room, not so great service

The hotel room itself was great! Two story, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, living room with fireplace and private balcony. Downside was we couldn't change the channels on either tv, even after I called front desk and they brought a different remote. So it was stuck on one channel the whole time. Also the wifi never connected, so we didn't get free wifi as advertised. And the front desk was hard to reach, constantly busy. Oh and the pool was closed which was a bummer. But at least the room was nice and way larger than expected.

We called in advance about the indoor pool and hotels.Com called as well, they said they had one but when we got there they did not. We reserved room for 5 people they only left enough towels for 2 and took over an hour to bring more. Plus there was no bedding for the hide a bed. Had to call front office at 10 pm and wait 45 minutes for someone to bring bedding. No shower liners so both bathrooms flooded when we showered.

Don't remove your shoes - Pass up this hotel!

Upon arrival into the non-smoking room, I could tell a heavy smoker had been in the room. The curtains smelled bad, this room was being used on a regular basis as a smoking room. I had removed my shoes and stuck to something on the carpet. Left shoes on the rest of the time. The bathroom toilet was so dirty, I placed hand towels on it in order to use it. The bath towels were dirty, Good thing I travel with extra towels and sheets. The walls were dirty who knows what was on them. The vent for the a/c rattled so much that sleep was not an option.

Dirty, Dangerous, Bad

Cons: Literally everything.
Location: Dangerous and sketchy.
Two men were loitering outside the building and watched me closely as I unpacked my car, and had their eyes on me the whole time I walked up to my room. My key didn't work and so I had to walk back past them....at 11 o clock at night, by yourself, there is NO good reason they should have been hanging out there and it was scary. Later a cop came and removed them. Finally got a working key, and my room was a smoking room, but they tried to tell me it was non smoking. So gross. Dirty floor, stuff in the fridge, a bare lightbulb, dresser was missing a drawer (seriously)....it was pretty bad. Next morning I needed to iron my shirt, and there was an ironing board but no iron! Then realized there was no phone to call the front desk with. So I called on my cell phone and the guy informed me that he couldn't leave the desk, but housekeeping could bring me one after 8 o clock....I had to leave at 6:30 so that was unacceptable. I was told there was nothing they could do. This room was nasty and I didn't feel safe here. The customer service was terrible.

Beware - hotel tried to resell our room

Room was a 2 story lift type room with a kitchenette. Very old and worn out but as clean as it could be. My main issue was that we booked the room weeks in advance and prepaid it to guarantee the room so there was no refund or cancellation option which we were fine with. However, the day prior to our arrival we got a call from the hotel advising us they would not have a room for us because they had guests already there who wanted to extend their stay. The hotel employee told us to call Hotels.com and get our money back. I had to tell the caller we did not have a refund option so he would have to refund our money (big convention in town so no rooms to be had anywhere). At that point he changed direction and said they would have our room available after all. Very sketchy but we did get a room when we arrived the next day. Will book elsewhere in the future. Beware!!

Decent Room but Nothing Special

Pros: The location was convenient and the room was clean and large.
Cons: Management needs to pay attention to detail, from the condition of the breakfast room to the disruptive behavior of guests.
The room was spacious and in good shape. Unfortunately, the hotel seems to cater to long term guests who spend a lot of time outside making noise all night long. The biggest disappointments, however, were the breakfast and the management. The breakfast selection was pretty slim to start with and they didn't even keep that stocked. One morning all four cereal dispensers were empty and the waffle dispenser was out of order. Frequently there were no utensils or glasses. When I brought this to the attention of the desk clerk she asked me to find the kitchen attendant and tell her about the problem. I don't think guests should be expected to manage the breakfast room, but apparently hotel management doesn't do this either because the next morning the situation was unchanged.

Stayed 3 nites for a family reunion. The phones did not work. Had to go to front desk for light bulbs. Not a lot of hot water. Did not keep breakfast bar stocked. Staff did minimum to get by.

Arrived around 11pm, took over 10 minutes to get someone to answer the door. Had to keep ringing the bell and eventually call to get a response. Room was nice and large; however air conditioner in the upstairs loft with the king bed did not work; hole in the wall. Breakfast mediocre, bacon raw

My family & I loved our stay. It was a two-floor suite with lots of play room for my kids. The building was a bit aged, however it is well maintained. Will definitely be staying there again.
