To begin with, I have never stayed at a 4 star hotel. I usually stay at a 3 star hotel so I was already intimidated going into booking a nicer hotel. Upon arrival, when we went to check in, there were 4 employees all looking down. No one looked up or acknowledged us. We had to awkwardly walk up to one and basically ask to be helped. She was very short and handed us our key and told us where the elevator was at. We stayed for 2 nights and customer service/friendliness is a 0. No one smiles, no one acknowledges your existence. Everyone looks miserable. When it comes to the room, it was clean. Apart from that I’ve had better sleep at a 2-3 star hotel than this one. The beds are on the hard side. The hallways were loud at all hours of the night. The 2nd night we stayed, an employee knocked on our door until we opened to deliver towels at almost 3 am that we never asked for. We had a 7 hour drive the next day so we were exhausted. It saddens me that this was our first experience with a 4 star hotel because it really left a bad experience. I regret wasting so much money on a nicer hotel thinking
at bare minimum we would have a good quiet hotel to stay at.
