Rooms are overpriced for the size.

I was disappointed at the size of the rooms. The toilet was too close to the shower and I'm not a big person and my legs brush up against it. I expected more luxury for the price I paid.

Great location and views

Location: Highly recommend the party boat that runs daily at 7 & 9pm
Stayed for two nights in August 2016. I live in the area but had friends in from out of state and we all got rooms here. Loved the hotel, no complaints. Especially surprised by how quiet it was even though there was a wedding and other events going on...must be well insulated and good quality doors.

Looked pretty, but had some issues ....

Pros: Beautiful view of the lake. Swimming pool looked nice. Glad to have restaurant and room service on sight. Good location relative to restaurants.
Cons: Make the water not brown. Make sure all room service breakfast orders picked up off doors by 2am. Check thermostats and doors working smoothly.
Location: Near the lake, has a pool, great location to restaurant row and movie theater.
Well, it was so beautiful from the outside and inside, but I had a few issues. When I went to enter my room, the green light came on but I couldn't open the door. I went downstairs to the front desk and told them, they said sometimes the doors stick and lock on their own and sent an engineer up to open my door. Turns out it was just stuck and he had to slam his shoulder into it to open it. I'm not sure why they just didn't give me another room. My next issue was that I was not able to adjust the thermostat at all. I was too tired to wait for another service person so I just let that one go. Next, I hung my breakfast room service order on the door at 11pm and breakfast never came the next morning. I opened the door and the order sign was still hanging there, even though it said they would be picked up by 2am. Last and worst - the water when I ran the sink to brunch my teeth was brown. I even took a picture of it, it was that bad. So, I opted not to shower because of that. Glad I only stayed one night.

We had to perform an emergency pipe repair which meant turning off the hot water for several hours. When it was turned back on, it led to the discoloration of the water for a short time. Again, we are very sorry for your experience and we would love you to give us an opportunity to make it right in the future.

Overall everything was average. Only one elevator was working of the two and with a cheerleader conference in the hotel and 200 teenage girls running around, the wait was long at times. I ended up using the throw pillow from the chair to sleep with because the pillows and I didn't agree but that's a "me" thing. Great sunsets over the sky line from the pool though.

UnderConstruction

Pros: The pool was clean and pool staff were friendly.
Cons: Desk clerk staff and construction noise
Location: Not much to do
I booked this hotel that showed Mediterranean style boutiques, restaurants nearby. Did not find any boutiques in the area. A few of the eateries had been closed. Had I been notified that noisy construction was taking place on the premise I would not have booked a stay. My three girls and I had to listen to noisy construction taking place the entire day. It was especially loud and noisy around the pool area. My 8 year old stated "Mom this noise has not stopped." Hard to relax with so much noise. The desk clerk staff was not very friendly when posed questions about the nearest restaurants or lake excursions. There was also a drone flying overhead.

Great Staff and Facility

Pros: Strong presence at front desk. Very cordial in bar and coffee shop.
Location: Sorry to see The Harbor has lost so many businesses but for those left it was enjoyable.
in town for son's graduation and knew about this hotel from the years we lived in Rockwall. Close, clean, and comfortable
