Nice Hotel close to friends

Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool area was clean and inviting for guests.
Location: The location was great for me while visiting friends for this short trip. I can't wait to stay here again to take in more of the sights soon.
This was a very nice place to stay while visiting friends in Garland, TX.

The breakfast that was included though there would be more kinds of food.

Nice hotel in good mixed location

Only real issue I had was that the hotel wouldn't allow me to cancel one of the days I booked. I assume this is because of the deal I got through Expedia. Also, breakfast was not included and over priced for what you got. The buffet didn't even half a waffle station. The hotel was nice and quiet and included a microwave and fridge with a freezer compartment. There was also free WiFi available in the room that worked fine. There was ample parking well. Would consider staying there again.

Great place to stay near Dallas

Pros: Location-Location-Location! Ease of access to Turnpike, restaurants and services. The indoor pool was great for kids. The area looked clean and safe!
Cons: The bartender doubled as the dinner service waiter. He was impatient and rude. This caused us to go elsewhere. All else exceptional
Location: Close to Dallas and sightseeing/activities. The Sumarai Museum was great!The Medieval Times Dinner was very enjoyable. World Aquarium a MUST SEE!
We came to Garland to attend a wedding and visit our family and grand kids. We stayed at the Garland Holiday Inn right off of the President George Bush Turnpike. This made it very quick to get to any of our destinations while we were there. It only took about 25 minutes to get to downtown Dallas. The indoor pool and hot tub was a great place to hang out with the kids. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Most of the Staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Jeffery at the front desk was extremely helpful and always had a smile on his face. There are several restaurants and banks next to the hotel.(Bank Of America, Olive Garden,Chuck E. Cheese, and more) Fast food, Sams Club, and a Walmart are located on the opposite side of the Turnpike. The Restaurant in the Hotel is reasonably priced. Breakfast and dinner is served but no lunch(There is a Bar open at night). I was told at check-in the breakfast fee covered all in the room but was informed three days later this was not true. The manager was fair and did not charge us double for those days.They also have a laundry room on the second floor and do not charge to use the machines. The hotel is located in what seems like a very new, clean and safe area. I would have given the Hotel and staff an excellent in all areas but unfortunately nothing is perfect.Dinner service was lacking proper etiquette by the waiter(rude) although the food was good. Again, many restaurants nearby.

Our Garland Holidays

Hotel was very welcoming for the holidays...the staff was efficient, but you could tell the gentleman at the front desk would rather be somewhere else. Rooms were nice and clean with simple decor. I would recommend this hotel for those visiting the Garland/Sachse area; nice centralized location.

Nice hotel close to highway.

My wife and I stayed one night over Christmas holiday. It was located in a great spot near family. Was very clean and quiet.
