Lackluster hotel

Posted Feb 20, 2017
Hotel has multiple maintenance issues. Part of the floor in the hallway is torn up with a sign saying they are doing construction, yet there is absolutely no sign of construction anywhere. Cracks in the grout in the shower, as well as the shower not draining properly. After taking a shower, you end up standing in 2 inches of water. Breakfast was very disappointing. It was basically eggs, sausage, and some sad looking bagels with a toaster that only one side works.

Dreadful hotel - don't go near it.

Posted Feb 8, 2017
Pros: Nothing, except my departure
Cons: Everything
A building site, no facilities and overpriced at that.

Breakfast was really bad, no cereal, wafles, yogurt, oatmeal, muffins. Really disappointed. Cold water on the pool, no working jacuzzi.

Big rooms and nice hotel

Posted Feb 1, 2017 on Hotels
The hotel is nice. The room was big and pretty good equipped. The service was decent. Location is close to the convention center. The two issues that were not so possessive are that the hotel was under renovation and that laundry was not picked up.

in renovation - but rooms are great -try it

Posted Jan 31, 2017 on Orbitz
Pros: rooms, staff and cleanliness - still being renovated - but nothing that should or would bother a customer - plenty of parking and nice foyer
Cons: breakfast eating area is still under repair - if exiting O'Conner be quick as it is right off exit
Location: this hotel is in Las Colinas - plenty of restaurants nearby - upper scale neighborhood and area
visited this hotel when under a different label, big change - worth the visit - good staff - room was a king and was very comfortable - this will be my go-to place when a room is needed near the airport

Under Major Renovation

Posted Jan 15, 2017
Pros: The staff and included breakfast
Cons: Give them 3 to 6 months to complete rework, then it should be OK
Location: Good location, Highway our front under major construction as well.
This Hotel is under major renovation. Smoky rooms, dust, debris, pool closed.

Las Colinas Holiday Inn

Posted Dec 27, 2016 on Hotels
My stay was great. There were some changes made prior to my staying there but the staff were great and the room was beautiful. There was little construction going on but it was quiet and beautiful. We didn't get to use the pool due to construction which was the reason why booked there but staff accommodated us for that. Overall, great place to stay, lovely staff, and great community.

The Hotel was located right in the middle of the city. It was near Dallas and in a convenient area. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The only downside in this case was the construction that was going on during the remodel. Once the Hotel renovation is complete, this will be a great Hotel!
