We love Homewood Suites and any time we travel, I always look for them due to their rooms with kitchens and the offer of free breakfast. We’ve always enjoyed our stays at various Homewood Suites. This one, though, was such a big disappointment. The front desk staff have zero desire to help their customers. Any time you ask them for something, you get a no. They find every excuse as to why they cannot help you. They don’t know what a simple smile is. We were told housekeeping only works between 12-3pm. They expect us to believe that? Funny how I saw multiple people from housekeeping every morning when we went down to breakfast around 8am. We couldn’t find pillows for the couch bed. Front desk told us pillows don’t come for that bed and our kids are expected to use the decorative pillows that come on the couch that are tiny and never get washed/get thrown on the floor. We told them that’s not happening and we need pillows. They said the room where pillows are stored is locked so they couldn’t help us. We were missing a variety of dishes and silverware from our room, plus a spoon that looked like it’d been through the garbage disposal a few times. Bed was not comfortable at all.
I saw some negative reviews on here prior to booking, but I just figured some people just had higher expectations, but in this case, they are not wrong. Spend the extra money to go somewhere better.
Manager, housekeeping and cooking staff were great and accommodating though.
