Lovely hotel centrally located

Posted Feb 22, 2017
Cons: The rooms need to be updated.
We enjoyed staying at the hotel for a couple of reasons: Centrally located, Nobu!!!, the staff is excellent, great service. The biggest disappointment is the hotel rooms. Very dated from the 80's. All the rooms need to be redone and newly appointed. I was booked in one room with no walk in shower but a tub and shower curtain, which I hate. I was switched to another room with a walk in shower, but then needed to pay for a roll out bed. I almost switched hotels due to the out of date room. The lobby is gorgeous. The staff was great, the breakfast delicious and of course Nobu is amazing.

Needs updated

Posted Feb 21, 2017
Pros: Clean
Cons: It seems stuffy
Location: Location is very good with good shopping
A hotel with rooms starting in the $300's should have Cable TV and HD TV and TV's larger than 30". Wanted to watch the fight but found this hotel did not have HD or Cable. Very disappointing.

Needs upgrades

Posted Jan 15, 2017
We stayed at the Crescent Court ten years ago and loved it. This time I was surprised to see not much has changed. It really needs some remodeling. Carpet is worn and needs updated. Love the location and restaurants in the Hotel but this Hotel needs work.

Aside from Staff-Mediocre

Posted Jan 10, 2017
Pros: The staff were impeccable, helpful, kind and professional. They exude customer service to the extreme. Truly the best aspect of my stay at The Crescen
Cons: I would enjoy a more colorful, decorated and appointed hotel room to match the grandeur of the lobby. The weather seal were nonexistent to the outside
Location: The location is pleasant and numerous restaurants are convenient.
After visiting Dallas on several occasion since my youth, I was looking forward to experiencing the phenominal legend of Caroline Rose Hunt knowing her impeccable attention to detail. The hotel itself was a disappointment, but the entire staff from valet to housekeeping were of the highest calibre of service. We were generoulsy upgraded to a suite for a very reasonable charge. The room was clean, but of little enchantment regarding decor. Snow had recently fallen and salt was in the elevator and landing on our third floor accomodation. Rarely does the grandeur of a hotel lobby translate to the room and this is true of The Crescent. I am not sure if I would return, but the convenient location would influence my decision.

It was a Nice hotel weekend away with a friend

Posted Dec 13, 2016
Pros: Coffee wonderful! Early bird riser with NY Times and coffee in lobby....perfect break for a busy mom on a weekend getaway. Spa great.
Cons: Slow to get us ice and no one went above and beyond for service.
Location: Many restaurants and things to do. Uber easy. Traffic horrible but not their fault.
Booked the Crescent to be downtown and have a little upscale spa experience with a friend who I hadn't seen in awhile. Good location, nice restaurants. lovely morning coffee. Workout facility and spa nice. Everyone pleasant but no one went above and beyond thus the 4. Would recommend.

Speechless

Posted Dec 2, 2016
Pros: The room was very nice, with the blinds closed.
Cons: Room selection for Expedia customers and their billing.
Location: Unknown
The room had to be in the worse location in the hotel. 2nd floor overlooking the HVAC equipment. Don't think that it was full the Monday after Thanksgiving. Billed correctly one time, and then they billed two more times for different amounts which I have had to dispute with AMEX since their billing department was not available for 4 calls and did not return my call after a detailed message.

Pleasant Stay

Posted Nov 19, 2016 on Hotels
The room was very nice and I loved that I could open the balcony doors and look out on the beautifully lite trees. The staff was most accommodating and ever so nice. The coffee in the lobby was delicious. All in all, it was a relaxing visit.
