Hotel assigned same confirmation to two different reservations so mine got booted when the other customer checked in first. Long wait while they figured it out.
Got a room but cockroach in the hall made me wish I’d booked a different hotel.

Hi Sheryl. I am sad to see that there were issues at check-in as well as a pest in the hallway. We strive for a seamless check-in experience and top notch cleanliness. I am sorry that we fell short of these things while staying with us. Being that the reservation was booked via a 3rd party site, confirmation numbers come from that entity and this is nothing done at the hotel level. Nonetheless, I am sorry that this occurred. It is my hope that in the future you will provide us with another opportunity to wow you and earn back your trust.

We stayed here for the April 2024 total eclipse and it ended up being the perfect location. The hotel rooms were really spacious and clean. Breakfast downstairs was super tasty each day. After the eclipse there was a big thunderstorm that came thru, the building felt very sturdy and secure. But in the morning we did notice there was a leak of some sort in the breakfast area. There was a few little things like our tv remote didn’t work. The drawer of the bathroom sink wouldn’t close and the sink spout placement was a bit off. We did end up buying ourselves a universal lg remote to fix our tv problem. But otherwise these little things didn’t impact our enjoyment of our stay. We would come here again in the future. We did not go to the steakhouse that’s in the parking lot, but the location is central to many eating places so there was no shortage of places to eat.

Value for money, spacious, clean, convenient access to highway. Breakfast is delicious. Only downside is no laundry operated machine.

The stay was overbooked. I spent $100 on an Uber to get there only to be told that I had to go to a sister property. Had to spend more money to get there. Demarcus told me that he would reimburse me for the travel fees. I emailed him and I never heard back. Once I got to the sister property, Zee said that no one contacted him about me coming. Although Demarcus reassured me that he called and said there was availability for me. When they got Demarcus on the phone, he acted as if he didnt know what we were talking about. It was a very stressful situation. I was upset with Expedia for overbooking and not notifying me that there was no availability. I was upset with the staff at Hyatt Place Plano for not making the process any easier and for not reimbursing me. I deleted Expedia from my phone, I will not be using this service ever again.

The property and rooms are a little dated but otherwise are excellent. The room was clean, comfortable and vert quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and the location was great.
