Nice hotel

Pros: Clean, convenient
Cons: nothing really
Location: convenient
Went for work. Nice to relax after a hard day! Nothing more to say. I don't like filling out reviews especially those that tell you fill add more information to your review. I've got nothing else!

Pros: Very nice room after I asked to be moved to one that did not have rust around the bathtub drain and pealing enamel areas in the bathtub floor.
Cons: All of the above mentioned.
Location: One must have an automobile as the hotel only offers a very light breakfast and only an IHOP is within close walking distance.
massive construction improvements going on that limited lobby space, limited mobility available for walking near the hotel, limited amenities, including no area for guest business needs such as computer, printer, and no refreshment stands in lobby or on any floors.

Bathroom Problems

Pros: Management's action on my complaints.
Cons: Maintenance personnel need to check condition of bathrooms more often. Get rid of water savers that reduce volume and water pressure.
Location: Location OK, just spent one night passing through Plano on the way to Houston. Checked-in at 8:00 p.m. and checked-out the following morning at 7:30.
Shower was broken, low water pressure, luke warm water at best. Coffee in reception area too strong and burned.

Pros: Close location to our daughter's house.
Cons: Updated bathrooms.
Given a handicapped room which I did not request and also had an adjoining door to the next room. Maybe it was the only room available when I booked. Had noisey neighbors which is no fault of the hotel.

Friendly staff and quality room

Staff was amazing and the room was very clean. Bathroom was great and all appliances worked perfectly, save for the thermostat. Overall would definitely come back for another stay!

Renovations good people are people

Pros: New look!
Cons: Staff training, maybe try a little customer service not lip service!
Location: Lots of restaurants and easy access to roads, but not noisy.
This hotel is very nice for the price and local and it is undergoing a great reno and so that should make it SUPER. However, their are the bumps of a reno. When we checked in the clerk said "Oh you are in one of our new rooms!" "awesome !" But then when we got there the heater did not work so I called down they came up and she said, "I'd love to move you but we are sold out!" End of story no if ands buts, nothing, too bad so sad! That kinds sucked. So after dinner that night we came back I asked if there were any cancellations and there were and we moved ourselves, no offers to help of course. And we got a room with a heater ... the finer things in life! The showers were cold then hot, probably due to renovations, tv in exercise room sound was up then down, on the second day there we returned at 2 and our room was not cleaned yet, then the maid came by she knew we were there and she said, oh you here, "no service!" Geez what a way to get out of your job! So as they say you can put lipstick on a pig!

Good Value

My stay went very well. The staff went above and beyond. The area unfortunately had a lot of construction and overflowed into the hotel experience. I was there on business and stayed for about a week. I also wish there were other hot breakfast options. :) Breakfast was good. Waffles in addition to the normal continental style offerings.

Clean Rooms!

We enjoyed our stay very much. So far, La Quinta has the cleanest rooms compared to other hotels. Great job, La Quinta!
