Great, reasonable, hotel - downtown DallasPosted Sep 21, 2015
Pros: Value, convenience, free shuttle. Beautiful building with character.
Cons: A small store where you could buy a few snacks, etc. would be nice, but there are convenience stores within a couple of blocks of the hotel.
Location: Downtown location, close to many restaurants, museums, galleries and the Dallas World Aquarium.
Lovely hotel in downtown Dallas. Walking distance to many venues and restaurants. We were attending a dinner at Sambuca Restaurant and a wedding at the Ritz Carlton. Not wanting to pay $500+ per night at the Ritz, we found great reviews on the Magnolia. Great decision! They have a free shuttle and you can arrange to be dropped off and later you can call them to pick you up. Shuttle runs until 11 pm. We parked our car at the hotel and didn't use it until we departed. The free buffet breakfast is pretty good. We were never back at the hotel in time to enjoy their milk and cookies, but reviews say they are good.

Downtown hotel with weird smellPosted Sep 20, 2015
This hotel was okay but it stunk so bad that we would literally gag every time we walked in the doors. I don't know what it was that smelled so bad but it was awful.

Great, but...Posted Aug 31, 2015
Cons: Hire new front office staff
The hotel was great and the location was perfect. Although, the front office staff did not seem to know anything about the hotel nor anything about Dallas in general. We would talk to the front office staff on multiple occasions and be given false information or they would act as though they did not know the answer (and didn't go find out). Valet staff knew more and were much more helpful.

Underrated gem in dowtown Dallas. 👍🏽Posted Aug 24, 2015
Overall the hotel and staff are great. However, the valet parking situation needs work. (A bit unorganized, didn't lock our car doors, couldn't find our car at one point.) But I would recommend the hotel itself to anyone wanting a nice downtown experience.

Absolutely BeautifulPosted Jul 20, 2015
Stayed there for the weekend and it was wonderful. The room was spacious and quiet. The breakfast is great too. It was a little busy checking in, but that was probably because the Mary Kay Convention was going on. Wonderful overall!
