Cheap but noisy, disorganized, and worrisome.

This was my first experience with Red Roof Inn and I was not impressed. I had an evening flight and arrived at the hotel around 9PM to checkin. I was informed that they did not have a reservation for me, and were completely booked. I called Expedia customer support, and while I was on the phone another customer came to the desk to complain the room they had just been issued was already occupied. This didn't exactly inspire confidence in the hotel's competence. Expedia resent the reservation details and the person behind the desk was able to magically find a room, despite telling me a few minutes before they didn't have any.
The room itself was clean and spacious, but extremely noisy. One of my neighbors was playing a guitar entire midnight or later, and the one above me either had several small children running around or a three-ring circus going on. If the noise wasn't bad enough I had a hard time falling asleep because I was worried the front desk would accidentally double book my room and another customer would walk in on me. Thankfully the door had a chain on it, which I kept engaged at all times I was inside the room.
Overall it was a nerve-racking experience, and I most definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone. For a slightly higher price I could have upgraded to a hotel with a better average rating. I think next time I will.
