WORST STAY EVER

Posted Oct 26, 2016
This hotel needs to be avoided at all costs. The room I was assigned had a funky musty smell and I was congested as soon as I entered the room. The vents looked dusty and moldy and when the A/C was on it just blew all the dust around and caused me a lot of issues breathing. The hotel is showing off the materials for the new elevator remodel, but the rooms and the carpeting are what REALLY need an upgrade. My room was NOT cleaned while I was there. NEVER again would I stay here.

Needs to be updated

The hotel staff was nice but the rooms are tiny, the pool was freezing even though it's "indoor" hot tub broke.

Dirty Room

Posted Sep 30, 2016
Pros: Proximity to Dallas World Trade Center and highways.
The hallway carpets are badly stained throughout. The room was in horrible condition. Stains on the carpet, stains on the couch. The headboard in a plastic leather fabric was stained and scratched. In the morning we discovered that the bathroom sink and tub were not draining. Management moved us to another room for the next two nights. The new room was in a better state, however the WiFi didn't work properly and the bedroom TV had a lose connection which caused the signal to be spotty. On the last morning we had to call down for coffee packets because the chamber maid had neglected to replenish. This property isn't worthy of the Sheraton banner and it's badly in need of a total re-model.

Nice hotel near downtown Dallas

Posted Sep 19, 2016
Pros: I like the location of the hotel. It is close to many attractions in downtown Dallas. Though it is near downtown Dallas, it is quiet and safe.
Cons: The hotel is obviously in the process of upgrading, but some of the facilities are dated. I would like an option for a complimentary breakfast.
Location: Gexa Energy Pavilion, Downtown Dallas, Restaurants, Nightlife.
My family stayed here when we attended the Five Seconds of Summer concert at the Gexa Energy Pavilion. The location was very close to the venue, and it was easy to get to and from the event.

Don't do it!!!

Posted Sep 13, 2016
The hotel is in major need of an upgrade The hotel lobby is ok but it gets worse as you get further into the hotel - the pool and surrounds are dirty the pool steps are slimey and the gym is one of the worst I've seen. The breakfast downstairs is not worth it and unless you want to 'throw money away' do not pay any additional a for club access unless you plan on drinking $100 of canned sodas. The hotel smells old and musty - the room was tidy but did not feel clean the air con noise makes it feel like you are in an airplane. Andre at the front desk was the best thing about this hotel and if a better hotel is looking for a great employee I would recommend hiring him but then this hotel will have absolutely no redeeming qualities.

Posted Sep 8, 2016
Will never stay there again Expedia have slot to ask for false advertising on the room I purchased. I walked out in day 2 in to my 5 night stay and already prepaid Expedia. I contacted Expedia and someone said they will call me back to discuss it is now 5 days later and still no phone call from Expedia. Very poor on both situation

This is a LAST resort hotel

Posted Sep 8, 2016
Firstly the check in experience was rushed and impersonal the lady obviously wanted to end her shift - the hallways smell old and musty like wet dirty laundry - the elevator gives you a 2 second window to get in before it closes on you - the rooms are outdated and the carpet smells and is covered in stains - the pool is also dirty and I didn't see anyone clean it while we were there in fact the same hair ball was there the three days we stayed - now for what you pay for - we ordered the club room for the 24 hour snacks, the breakfast and the appetisers we paid the upgraded price for this at 8.45am there was NO breakfast - no juice no bowls no cereal absolutely nothing as well as no one up there - at 10pm there was no milk for the coffee at 11 pm still no milk at 1 am nothing and the night manager said for better words too bad too sad - until we expressed our annoyance and he finally got us a couple of small milk cartons from the kitchen Day two - still no breakfast still no snacks and still no appetisers - day three we checked out and went across the road to the Hilton - I am waiting on a response from Expedia for two reasons one - they charged us $90 a night more then booking.com which is not great considering they have a price guarantee second the service we paid for was not what was received so Expedia.co.nz which thankfully are bound by the commerce commission will give us a full refund for the nights we didn't stay and for the extra paid for a service not received
