Location: Very good. quick access to Oaklawn Lane to go either downtown or SMU area.
Enjoyed the amenities. The bar was friendly. Made some acquaintances.

Dirty installations

Posted May 15, 2017
Pros: location
Great location however the hotel needs to be cleaned you can see dirt all over the place. Carpets are quite disturbing in their aspect. Rooms are ok and hotel staff at restaurant quite friendly.

Great location and convenience

Posted May 6, 2017
Pros: I love the convenience and location. It's easy to get to from DFW, and with it's location near the 35E Freeway, the noise isn't an issue.
Cons: As I said earlier, the tubs just show the age of being there a long time. The rest of the room was very comfy!
Location: Plenty! Close to Oaklawn, and lots of restaurants, including a personal favorite of 18th and Vine BBQ. A must if you're in the area!
I've stayed at this property many times, mostly for it's location, ease in getting on and off the highway, and value. Room was spacious and clean, and they've done renovations since my visit in 2016. The front desk staff was likable, but not overly friendly. Room was spacious, internet was speedy, and the shower pressure was good (qualities I always look for in a hotel). I will say, with all the renovations done, they just need to update the tubs....they just show the wear and tear of being a bit old (but not moldy or dirty...just worn).

Nice hotel, convenient to Downtown

Posted Apr 24, 2017
Cons: The bed sheets used were very heavy, almost like canvas. While the bed was comfortable, the sheets were really thick and uncomfortable.
Hotel was clean, modern and priced well through Expedia. The pull-out sofa was handy. We had issues with the TV but staff remedied quickly. This was a good value for the dollar

Renovations??? What renovations?

Posted Apr 11, 2017
Pros: Location is good for what I need to do while in town
Cons: Get housekeeping to CLEAN the rooms. If the management is going to reply to customer criticism with the promise of 'renovations' then PLEASE DO IT
Seems the last couple of times I have stayed here, I complain about the condition of the hotel and I am always assured by the manager to look for the upcoming 'renovations'. The ONLY thing new on this property are the additional stains on the carpet and the furniture. Housekeeping did not clean my room for 2 straight days and I finally had to ask the front desk staff to make sure my room was cleaned. I stayed 6 nights and the room was only cleaned twice. I must have been an 'involuntary' participant in their 'Green' program, although I didn't receive any points or hotel credit for the times my room was not cleaned or serviced. The missing door on the morning bar was a nice touch. Seems when I book though Expedia I always get the crap room with the most stains and worst location.
