Great hotel, front desk? Hmmm

This was my first time at this hotel and it was really nice. I definitely enjoyed my stay. However, when I booked my room it was through Expedia, when I checked in the gentleman asked for my card and ID. It took awhile to whatever he was doing and then asked if anyone else was coming which I had never been asked that before and had also asked for their name. I thought that was very weird. So I get in my room and it is beautiful. When I tried logging onto the wifi it said they couldn't find me with my room and name info. So when I called the front desk the lady told me I wasn't even checked in! So I go back to the front desk to check in AGAIN so she also asked for my card and ID. The next morning I get breakfast and then couldn't even get back in my room. Had to go back to the front desk about that and it was barely 8:30 in the morning. Then I check my bank account and they double charged me for the room! So I paid twice as much for the room after I had already paid for the room through Expedia! So of course I go to the front desk about it a different gentleman checked and he said he already saw that I was double charged but he couldn't resolve the issue until his manager came in on Monday morning and this happened on a Saturday morning. So if you ever go to this hotel I wouldn't suggest you giving them your card if youve already paid for the room, otherwise they may double charge you. The room was very nice though.
