Great hotel, front desk? Hmmm

This was my first time at this hotel and it was really nice. I definitely enjoyed my stay. However, when I booked my room it was through Expedia, when I checked in the gentleman asked for my card and ID. It took awhile to whatever he was doing and then asked if anyone else was coming which I had never been asked that before and had also asked for their name. I thought that was very weird. So I get in my room and it is beautiful. When I tried logging onto the wifi it said they couldn't find me with my room and name info. So when I called the front desk the lady told me I wasn't even checked in! So I go back to the front desk to check in AGAIN so she also asked for my card and ID. The next morning I get breakfast and then couldn't even get back in my room. Had to go back to the front desk about that and it was barely 8:30 in the morning. Then I check my bank account and they double charged me for the room! So I paid twice as much for the room after I had already paid for the room through Expedia! So of course I go to the front desk about it a different gentleman checked and he said he already saw that I was double charged but he couldn't resolve the issue until his manager came in on Monday morning and this happened on a Saturday morning. So if you ever go to this hotel I wouldn't suggest you giving them your card if youve already paid for the room, otherwise they may double charge you. The room was very nice though. Convenient, great staff, wonderful breakfast

Our stay was great. The hot breakfast is varied each day and there were lots of choices. When we had a problem in our bathroom they had it fixed by the time we returned to our room. The staff are pleasant and ready to offer assistance.

Nice, btu not on a holiday.

Very nice room. Only suggestion is get quieter bathroom vent fan motors. They are one with the lights and make a racket. AND... don't stay over Christmas...the housekeeping staff took off on Christmas Eve and on Christmas so the room weren't made up for two days. Had to get our own toilet paper. The room entry door was so heavy, it was hard to push open, too. TV did not swivel enough so second person could see it from their bed.
