needs help

The lobby was clean and presentable. Even the smell gave the impression that the hotel was nice until I got to the room. The odor was as if water damage had occurred and was never cleaned up. I recommend the health department go into the hotel and inspect it for violations. Everything felt wet and the air was not in to circulate properly so that made things worse. I had to get car fresheners and stick them in the air conditioner in order to cover the smell.

Better than I expected. Place was a bit noisy, especially with trains passing. Evening & Morning Staff was nice. Breakfast area was really small but the TX waffle maker is always good. Room was crisp & clean, flat screen tv was nice, bathroom door was old & hard to open/close. Overall, worth the price.

I was going for cheap but got so much more...

This was a last minute booking and I was in the mindset to make cheap and tolerable. I was very very pleased with the property and its staff. From the moment of check-in to the moment I checked out; the staff remained courtesy and responsive to any questions or needs that I had. The room was great. The bed was firm, the a/c quite, and the updated furnishings were a surprise.

Was a nice stay with a few hiccups.

Our room was dirty. The a/c wasn't on when arrived at our room when we arrived. Then it was off again when we returned after an outing. We had asked about the A/C upon entering our room since the filter was dirty and no air could get thru it. We took it off and the motel clerk advised it would be taken care of the next day. It was not. Spoke to Mike upon leaving from our stay and he credited our stay $40 to which hasn't been credited as of this review. Mike was super nice and said they were in the process of renovating. We will probably give this place another chance next year if we return.

Quick overnight trip

My sons and I stayed here for a 2-day conference that was being held. We only slept there but it was pleasant.

It was...Meh.

Cons: everything!!
Did the hair test on the beds, found 1. Comforter was dirty with cig burn marks. Its obviously a run down motel with minimal amenities. Walls were dirty, and there were more rooms than parking spaces. No ice machine, so you had to go do to the front desk to get ice. Room was $70 (no hardly worth that), but got it for $49 on expedia (still not worth that). The so called "continental breakfast" was some yogurt on ice and some small waffles in a plastic bin. Very disappointing. Def won't be back to this place.
