Nice Hotel on the edge of town

Pros: Nice and quiet. Close to family
Cons: Faster internet, use "CLR" to get rid of the hard water stains. I know it's not the hotels fault that there is hard water
Location: There is food, there is stores and gas stations and pharmacies. You're also not too far from DART's Park and ride
The location of this hotel is just on the outside Northeast section of Dallas. That means there no traffic or other headaches to deal with. The rooms are pretty sound proof, the only way you'll hear the highway (I-30) is if you open the window. From this location you are about 20-30 min away from just about everything.

had a problem with road noise, but the hotel people really seem and did to want to fix the problem. So I'm good with this.

Perfect Stopover

Was greeted by a lovely woman, felt welcomed. The stay was perfect after a long day on the road. Would definitely recommend.

Not clear why its rated 4/5. Old facility, aging rooms, sticky carpet, rooms smell of cig smoke. Desperately needs renovation. Owner/manager friendly and helpful

SHAME!

This was our first time staying at this Super 8 and we were very excited about it & looking forward to it since we saw their great reviews, so we thought it would be a great place especially it being a Super 8 with great reviews (Boy were we wrong). When we got there, the lady at the front desk who let me know she was from England since I told her I loved her accent,was not very pleasant & she refused to give us the room we had already PAYED for. She forced us to upgrade & then proceeded to give us a lecture as if we were children & not mature adults. She told us not to "Smoke in the room, trash & dump up the room, & not to party in the room" and she said it like she was assuming that we would which was NOT TRUE at all. Then she proceeded to say that she could get "Real ugly" if she had too & that we didn't want "To see her that way". When I asked her what she meant by that & let her know that we didn't appreciate what she had just said she proceeded to say "I'm just kidding...hehehe.." Which that was not funny to us at all! Then they tried to put us in a room that smelled like someone had been smoking in there for days, I went straight down & let her know what it smelled like & requested another (Why I did not leave sooner was a terrible mistake). Then as I was walking back in the room from telling her about the cigarette smoke, she had the nerve to call up to the room & spoke to my husband & children who were in the room waiting for me to come back & stated for them to not

No Frills - Clean Room

Pros: Clean Rooms
Cons: Update the lobby
Location: Lots of restaurants nearby
Basic clean room at a good price. Quick access to the freeway and lots of restaurants.
