Nice hotel , great location

Posted Aug 17, 2016
The hotel it's self was exceptionally nice. From the moment we arrived the valet staff treated us as if we were regulars. Check in was painless and prompt. The room was very clean ....odd decor ...very odd. Our only complaint would be that the double beds are very small... not to bad if you don't mind sleeping on top of one another but they could have sprung for at least 2 Queens. The pool area was secluded and almost Vegas like with the cabana and bar tender. The location of the hotel is fantastic for all sorts of shopping and night life..for all ages. Over all a good pick.

Dear Johnathan - Thanks for staying with us while visiting Dallas! It's true our Double guest rooms do have two "Double" size beds. Sorry you found them to be a bit small for your needs. We do have a variety of other room types with either King beds or two doubles. Love the feedback on the pool vibe during your visit! Look forward to welcoming you back again soon. Deadbolt on door wouldn't lock. Musty smell in room. AC had to be fixed. Had to request coffee pot, not provided. Shower didn't work properly. Hotel seemed to be aging.

Nice hotel very close to everything.

Posted Aug 8, 2016
Pros: Very comfortable and very accomodating
Cons: Parking
Location: Everything. Food, shopping and personal care options
Great staff and a beautiful hotel. The location was in the heart of the city and everything was close to us. They let us have a late check out without hesitation.

Pros: Nicely remodeled and great staff. Plenty of restaurants and shopping close by.
Cons: Spruce up the pool area. Supply body wash. Offer more dining options, especially for room service.
The hotel is nice but it is too close to the highway. You could hear a lot of car noise in the room 24/7. The pool area was disappointing. It was plain and had no ambiance. I was also shocked that the rooms didn't supply body wash. Lastly, valet parking was the only option to park. There was no self parking so you are forced to pay the $27 per day to park.

Dear Anonymous - Thanks for staying with us on your visit to Dallas. Glad you enjoyed the renovated property and our terrific staff. Our pool area is a terrific amenity that many of our guests enjoy, that said we too are looking forward to some of the enhancements you enjoyed inside making their way to the pool side as well. Our bathrooms currently offer a facial bar, body soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Sorry you felt the offering was lacking, next time give us a call and we can have some body wash brought to your room! Parking is extremely limited in our location and we do offer valet parking for our guests 24/7. Piece of mind can be priceless! All best, David David Lemmond General Manager

Very Disappointed

Posted Aug 5, 2016
The hotel has 2 elevators. 1 wasn't working. There were crowds of people trying to get to their floors. The 1st room I had smelled like it hadn't been used in months. It was dingy and dark. The restroom light didn't work. There was only 1 lamp in the room, so it was extremely dark. The view was of the top of the roof of another building. I complained, got a 2nd room. I walked in an instantly felt better...until the restroom had shavings of a men's beard and makeup shavings from a previous woman guest. Gross. I complained and was offered a gift certificate for food at the restaurant there, but didn't bother. I was late for an event and didn't feel like stopping by the front desk to show the pictures. I was over it by then.

Hello Anonymous - Sorry for the disconnects you experienced on your recent visit to our Hotel. As with many pieces of machinery or equipment, they do require service from time to time to keep them in optimal shape to service our guests. I know it has an impact to the guests trying to get up or down the building but it is important that the equipment be functional and safe for our guests! We do have rooms which face a variety of directions, some of which are adjacent to neighboring rooftops, sorry you felt it to be too dark for you - but I'm glad our team was able to find you an alternate room! Our housekeeping staff should have taken better care of the bathroom prior to your arrival and I am very sorry you found the sink in that condition. It is always beneficial to let the staff know when you find inconsistencies in the overall experience. We are here for our guests! All best, David David Lemmond General Manager

Good hotel but had issues

Posted Jul 19, 2016
The hotel and staff are great, however, the wifi was down the entire time we were there. When we wanted to use the pool it was closed for a private event. Then there was the constant noise from the construction going on that starts at 6am. They should have let us know about the wifi prior since it was not possible to do the work I needed to do. We also couldn't utilize the facilities that we were looking forward to using. I will not book this hotel again due to the fact of all the issues we had.

Dear Jen - Thanks so much for the feedback on your recent visit. We are so sorry for the downtime with the WiFi system at the Hotel. We had teams working on and off property on the problem for several days to correct the terrible disconnect for our guests. Typically the pool is never taken out of service for special events, but on this rare occasion your visit was impacted. We are so sorry for the inconveniences you experienced. We hope you will give us a chance to make up for all that went wrong on a future visit. We would be happy to welcome you back. All best,
