Water bugs in the room, microwave was dirty.

Staff was nice but the room had water bugs/ cockroaches in the room.

Great overnight stay

Staff was friendly and greeted me. Always a prompt answer when I called the front desk. I couldn't figure out the safe in the room. I tried using all zeros as suggested but it was a big deal.

Quiet, clean, and affordable

We came to town to visit the Magnolia farms in Waco and chose this hotel because of the water feature in the pool and the rooms because we were traveling with small children. Our room was a true suite with a separate sitting area separated from the bedroom with a door. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean and stocked with Paul Mitchell bath and body products. Breakfast was served from 6am-10am and was decent for a hotel breakfast. In the evening, the bar opens and the breakfast area offers appetizer items and small sandwiches for purchase. The gym is sufficient and is open 24 hours. The pool area is decent and has a small splash pad pool for children and a hot tub for the adults. There is a patio and pergola area outside across from the pool and workout room that is nice on the not so hot Texas days or evenings! For the value, this hotel is spot on. It is set back from the road and we did not hear any traffic. The hotel was not busy when we stayed, so I never heard any noise from other guests. Check in and check out was simple. There is a movie theatre within walking distance and a mall and restaurants within a 5 minute drive. You won't regret choosing this hotel!

A good place to stay for conference.

Everything were clean. In quiet safe area. Staff were good. About 5-10 mins. to Irving convention Center. Not many good restaurants nearby.

Hotel close to DFW but no free airport shuttle

Pros: close to airport
Cons: beds were lumpy as was the comforter. The pillows were like little square rocks. Not very comfortable.
I booked this hotel because they advertise on expedia and hotels.com that there is a free airport shuttle. When I arrived, I was informed that they discontinued that service. I told Veronica at the front desk that I specifically booked their hotel because of this and she was nice enough to arrange for the transportation with their hotel shuttle car. Thank goodness for her!! I think that this needs to be uipdated on all websites. Thanks so much veronica for taking care of us.

Nice enough

No one was at the front desk when I arrived, but eventually a person from housekeeping came by and went to find the front desk person. Instead of acknowledging or apologizing for the wait, the young lady complimented my sandals, which were falling apart. Whoever had been in the room before me must've absconded with the hair dryer, and the safety latch on the door was broken. There were also large holes in the upholstery of the desk chair, and the bed was not very comfortable. But the lobby smelled fantastic, and once able to get in touch with the staff (don't try using the "Guest Services) button on the phone, they immediately brought up a hair dryer and showed me where the outlet was to plug in the clock on the bedside table.

Pros: Clean and functional.
Cons: I didn't like the pillows. They were square and not very fluffy.
The room was clean and functional. It isn't fancy, and the Price is right.

Breakfast included!

The best part overall is breakfast included! We tried to spend as less money as we can on this trip. The room is clean, even though we left the room around 1pm, when we back at night, they still did the cleaning job.

Great hotel in a quiet area

I was very pleased with my stay. I had a last minute need for a room and got a great deal on expedia. I was very impressed with the facility and accommodations. Rooms were nice and clean and very spacious. Staff was friendly and inviting. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
