Excellent base when visiting this area of Dallas

We stayed here for four days and were basically quite pleased. Although it is located at a major intersection, it's set back from the road and seems area zoning does not allow for signs except on the building itself. A bit difficult to find the first time...clue: it's behind a strip center of medical offices.
They serve the typical free hotel breakfast of cereal, waffles, muffins, juice and scrambled eggs along with BEIGE sausage. There must be a supplier that brown's their pre-cooked sausage by either more cooking or even food coloring! I've seen this unappealing pork elsewhere, and even on buffets that you pay for, so this is a rant more to the food supplier rather than this Wingate.
The management of this location are clearly on site and even have professional overnight desk clerks, rooms are clean and quiet, TV's work well (HBO, if you care) and free Wi-Fi that seems to always work!
We're somewhat Dallas area regulars and we will return here, and just take a pass on the sausage.
