roach infested, rip off

Pros: after all this.. nothing
Cons: read the first comments and start there
Location: poorly kept exterior with little to do of intrest near. staff unhelpfull.
starting at check-in.. could not find reservation.. then wanted to double charge credit card.. finally got room.. had to go back and ask for towels.. we booked for 2 person and only one set of towels.. then started seeing ROACHES, not one or 2 but 15 in about 10 min.. asked for something to kill them and was told it would be Monday and they would see about treatment.. maybe.(this was Friday afternoon mind you) We bought fogger and treated room for all the good it did. then Saturday evening, (we had booked for 2 nights) came in and room cards would not work and we could see through the window that the room had not been serviced. Went to office to see why. (this was about 9 PM now). We were offered clean linen to change our own beds. I refused and asked to be not charged for sat night. they refused. ( we were going to just try to find another inn or drive all night to go home after this) Sure they said but I would still be charged for 2 nights. Finally they offered a different room.. repeat of previous night and there was blood and urine stains on the bed comforter in this room. In neither room did the smoke alarms work. (we were told "just don't smoke in room and we would not need them) both bathrooms had mold on tiles. (Lysol helped protect us). through it all the manager was rude and really showed he did not care about the guests. I doubt we ever book through Expedia again. I though they checked these places out somewhat before listing them. I really would like a refund.

Pros: It is readily accessible from Interstate 75.
Cons: Hotel needs expert plumbing and mechanical repair work. It also apparently needs management that knows the hotel business.
Location: there is a new Wendy's restaurant nearby. The entire interchange is in the midst of a complete renovation.
The manager/owner appeared to not know how to handle the office and customers coming in. The phone was dead, a shower handle was so loose the water temp could not be controlled. Woodwork was sloppily repaired and very thickly painted. The tile floor was broken, then sloppily fixed. Another room's lock was broken. Several keys made in the office would not open the door. Shower mats were used for towels. This hotel is neglected. We used to come here some years ago. Much has changed for the worse. We talked to one of the cleaning staff. She was apologetic and helpful, but her magic wand didn't work. The next morning, the day clerk was also apologetic and understanding.

we arrived and were greeted nicely and told how to get to our room. It was all downhill from there. The room was freezing and the heater only blew out semi hot air. It was hours before the room was comfortable. The shower was disgusting and there was a dead bug in the tub. I felt gross staying there. Would not recommend.

Pros: Are you kidding?
Cons: If it was leveled to the ground.
Yes, we know this is a cheap hotel and we were not expecting luxury. But this hotel was disgusting. The entire sink and bathroom area was filthy. The sink was clogged and it was difficult to brush teeth. When we tried to shower, the shower head began spewing black, foul smelling gunk all over (my husband!) and the walls, leaving a non-draining, stinky mix in the tub--and all over the bathroom. No showers for us! Staff's response? Oh--sorry! We exited this dump as quickly as possible. Do NOT stay at this hotel--it is not worth the 45.00.
