The staff is super warm and friendly and so helpful; I could not have felt more welcome. The rooms are very clean; the bathrooms are spotless (and have excellent hot water1). The hotel is in a very central location. It is just an 8-minute walk from the main train station.

Pleasant smallish hotel by canal with garden, helpful friendly staff, 20 minute walk to station, excellent breakfast for 10 euros extra, pleasant, reasonably priced bar with pizza and short menu, free drink on arrival. Spotlessly clean. Quiet, with good sized room and large well-appointed bathroom. A bit pricey.

Great hotel, amazing staffPosted Mar 11, 2018
Pros: Very clean, good location, spacious room and bathroom. Staff was so very friendly and helpful
Location: Location was convenient. We walked everywhere. Area felt safe at night.
We stayed in the family room with our college age daughter. Plenty of room for the 3 of us. The bathroom was very big. The heated floors, heated towel racks and bathrobes were a nice touch. The room felt much more upscale than what we paid. The location was convenient. We were able to walk everywhere. The staff at the hotel were amazing! The two young women working the desk (sorry, didn't get their names) were so very helpful and friendly!! We were also given a complimentary drink coupon, and our bartender was also very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic hotelPosted Feb 19, 2018
Stayed here for 2 nights with my 10 year old daughter. Great location, friendly staff. Let me check in early when we arrived from the station. Lovely twin room and amazing bathroom with large walk in shower. Safe and mini fridge in the room. Great breakfast every morning with fresh fruit salad, yogurt, cereals, fresh bread, croissants, fruit juices and cooked breakfast. Would definitely come again and recommend to anyone wanting to stay in a beautiful part of Amsterdam.

Excellent hotel close to central AmsterdamPosted Feb 15, 2018
Pros: Fabulous Staff Great location Stylish look Quiet and a bed which offered a great nights sleep
Cons: Nothing. Really. Nothing.
Location: Start with a canal tour Anne Frank house is just up the road and well worth a vist
We arrived after midnight due to a delayed flight. The reception staff was excellent, quickly getting us checked in and giving us enough information to know the basics before heading to our room. On the website room 106 is described as "small". That's not strictly true. It's a decent sized room with a double bed. Tasimo coffee makes - which was great, Very stylish room. Bathroom is small(ish) but very practical. The bed is very comfortable. There is a safe in the cupboard, very easy to use and works well. Very quiet during our stay no problems at all. The room faces out onto a small courtyard but that appears to only be used by housekeeping. There isn't much room to store clothes etc. but if you're travelling light it's fine. If you pack a lot then choose a different room. Breakfast is a buffet, with the addition of hand made omelettes - which are excellent. The staff are amazing. So friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble. They'll help guide you to wherever you need. Easily the best set of staff I've ever come across - so nice it's like staying with friends. The hotel is situated about a 10-15 minute walk from Central Station and is handy for most sights. We like walking and it took about 40 minutes to walk from the hotel to the Van Goch/Rijksmuseum/Moco Museum. It's a lovely walk along the canals with many places to have a break in. We can't fault the hotel in any way - everything just worked - which is all you can ask. Highly recommended!

Amazing hotel!Posted Jan 25, 2018
This hotel is just amazing. The staff is super nice, location is great and the hotel is in excellent condition. I stayed in the 3-person room and it was just perfect. It looks recently-renovated, the heating and AC work well, the beds were really comfortable and the bathroom design is quite unique.

Lovely quite HotelPosted Jan 10, 2018
Pros: Staff lovely- quite location.
Cons: More hot food options in evening.
Location: Near the main station. Nice restaurants
I stayed at this lovely hotel in Dec 2017, for a solo city break to recharge the batteries. The hotel is a 10 minute gentle walk from the main station. I had an early flight, the hotel had already informed me the room may not be available, which was fine. They checked in my baggage and give me tips on places i could go and get some lunch. The hotel is about a 20 min walk to the museum area, this gives you a good chance to see the city. My room was lovely- and loved the bathroom. If require a lot of space or prefer large rooms then don't book a single room. The room was perfect for my needs and i loved the decoration and colour scheme. I will come here again!
