Nice clean hotelPosted Mar 15, 2018
My experience was great, the room was big , very clean hotel, Staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Restaurant in the hotel was very nice, the food was delishious they also had live entertainment. The only think that I thought wasn't appetizing was the continental breakfast. I think they should've had buffet style breakfast even if they charged extra for that option that would be good. Otherwise everything else was Great!!

Room description very deceivingPosted Feb 24, 2018
My boyfriend and I arrived at the hotel a little after 6 pm, and we waited at the reception desk for quite some time before we were helped ( manager was taking a nap in the back). We were celebrating a late valentines and so we wanted a room with a jacuzzi. I looked at a lot of other hostels before settling on this one, as it was the only one offering jacuzzi’s. After we checked in, we went up to our room to find that the “whirlpool” was actually just a tub in the bathroom, not separated like we thought. We were bummed to say the least and so my boyfriend went downstairs to see if the manager could help us out. Jordan, the manager, said there was nothing he could do about it, that the payment was already processed. His attitude was very poor and not professional. We were very disappointed to learn that we couldn’t receive a refund to go somewhere else, or an upgrade, or anything at all, he basically said, oh well. So we stayed the night even though we thought about taking a loss and going somewhere else. The room was fine, it had a separate living area which was nice, but the fact that there was no jacuzzi was a huge negative for us, and we traveled more than 2 hours to get there. The next morning when we checked out, we mentioned our experience another manager and she first apologized for the other managers behavior and gave us a few options to resolve the issue. We won’t be going back, because the experience put a sour taste in our mouth.

Decent looking until your room key stops working.Posted Jan 2, 2018
Room keys stopped working when me and the girlfriend went to get ice and sodas at 11:30 pm New Year’s Eve down the hall. The supervisor wasn’t helpful and took an hour to tell us we were out of luck and were given a different room as all of our personnel belongings, including car keys, cell phones, shoes, food, and winter attire just to name a few, we’re stuck in the original room. We were very hungry and had no way of getting food or even leaving the premise. They refused to allow the fire department break down the door to get out stuff out. They ruined our New Years celebration and I will never stay there again.

Pet friendly clean comfortable few glitches.Posted Nov 16, 2017 on Hotels
They have Unsecured wifi. Not a good idea. The desk clerk did not know the password to the one secure wifi that I saw on my screen. She said that I didn't need a password. That may be true for their unsecured wifi. But logging on to unsecured wireless is just asking to be hacked. The phone in the room did not work and I could not call the front desk. I had to walk to the lobby to ask a question. Slightly frustrating. The room was clean and comfortable and they welcomed my dog who was traveling with me. I would definitely stay there again. I think the wireless problem and the phone problem were minor irritations. A good rest in a clean comfortable pet friendly hotel is priceless.

Disappointing HotelPosted Nov 16, 2017
Pros: Location was great,
Cons: The whole place needs upgrade. Staff needs training and more attention to detail.
Very disappointed. Front desk staff was so engrossed in his phone, he was not aware we were standing right in front of him. Hotel atrium was freezing, due to a large hole in the glass at its peak. Our room also had a large crack in the window glass from top to bottom. changed rooms as we had requested king bed, and were given 2 doubles.

Looks deceiving but quite nicePosted Oct 29, 2017
At first I thought that it was an old looking hotel. It's not 21st century but it was clean. The layout of the room was my favorite. King size with a pullout bed. The bed had its old private area, you can separate from the seating area with the pullout couch. It was very clean, decent continental breakfast, overall my stay was quite and peaceful. Would return if I'm in the area again.

HOTELS ARE FOR SLEEPINGPosted Oct 22, 2017
Pros: 1. Nice Location 2. Clean Room
Cons: 1. Poor Wireless Service 2. Uneatable Breakfast
Location: Go to a Game or Play at WCSU. See Fall Foliage,...Drive up to Kent, CT on HWY 7 and see the Covered Bridge and Falls. Hike the Appalachian Trail
Spending time with friends, not with my hotel room.

Decent enough. Consider myself a bit of a hotel snob. This property was right on the edge of being unacceptable. Kitchen restaurant situation was poor
