Was in the area to visit a local friend. This hotel is ideal for an overnight stay. Rates are reasonable and close to things in the area. Staff members are friendly and helpful. The hotel has great potential but needs some minor upgrades. The lighting in room is extremely dark and could be improve with just the use of brighter L.E.D bulbs which are energy efficient and reasonable priced. That was my biggest con during my stay.

Good stopover heading for New York Easy access from I84. Many dining options close. Danbury Mall nearby. Grab and go breakfast good.

We were only at the hotel for one night. It was clean, quiet (except for a little road noise) and the person that checked us in was excellent. He was friendly, quiick, and gave us great suggestion for dinner.

The room was clean and we had no issues. The service wasn't great. There was no attempt to talk about anything other than the bare minimum needed. The wifi was slow, the water was like-warm at best even after bringing it up to the front desk. They went to reset the water heater when I told them it was cold and it got just slightly warmer. Breakfast was cold and hard bagels with warm cream cheese and fruit. I would stay again if absolutely needed during another storm but I wouldn't call it anything more than a middling experience. They were there when I needed them and that's it.

I love this hotel because of its location when I need a break from home It's within 20 minutes of where I live It's right beside a stop & shop which makes it easy to grab snacks if I want to, So I keep giving This hotel chances. What bugged me on this visit, I requested a pet room and when I arrived I looked at the paper I was given to sign and the cost was lower than I knew it should be, apparently it was never put on my reservation that I needed a pet room gladly it was easily taken care of. You only other thing that I will say is that they need to do something about the windows the windows are always very dirty and completely fogged over which defeats the purpose of having a nice view. This hotel is good, with a few changes it could be fantastic.

Not the relaxing stay that I was hoping for
I booked this two-night stay at this hotel because I needed to relax.....The desk agent was nice, My first problem was that I was given the wrong room I paid for a room with a jacuzzi and I was given a room without one, went back down to the front desk and I was then given a key to the correct room now I had to drag my stuff from the first room to the correct room which was a hassle. The second problem was that there wasn't any hot water which meant I couldn't use the jacuzzi, or take a shower, so my first night was already ruined. I waited until the next day figuring something would be done but nothing was fixed so I called down to the front desk only to realize that they knew that there was no hot water and that they were now going to try and get it fixed, It was fixed I was able to use jacuzzi and I checked out the next day. Not the relaxing stay that I was hoping for.

The hotel had a nice design with a soaring 4 story atrium under a glass roof leading to the registration desk. It had a nice underground garage with a swift elevator. The room was spacious and clean. When I went to check out I put a box on the counter, it started to open up and the clerk pulled out some packing tape and sealed it for me. The downsides were minor-the refrigerator was noisy and we were on the street side of the building thus had some road noise. (but I am noise sensitive) The hot water for tea at the breakfast setting was in a carafe that had been used for coffee at some point and this slightly flavored the tea. The included breakfast was a bit sparse. But, overall this hotel is a great place for the price.

The internet is extremely weak. It’s impossible to stay on line. If you are trying to work, be prepared to be frustrated. Also, they say they have a continental breakfast. What they serve is insulting.

Their food service has been shut down since Covid. It would have been nice to know before we booked, as we had planned on dining and utilizing their room service. In the morning, they put out cellophane wrapped cold, untoasted bagels, with no toaster available. The staff was very courtesy and professional.

When we got there they told us that they were overbooked and complained to us about it, a lot. We stood there just waiting around for them to figure out things, finally got our room, but it wasn’t what we asked for…ended up with just one bed and my son had to curl up on a loveseat. Random stains everywhere, including the linen. I specifically chose this hotel because it offered laundry service (both on Travelocity and on their own website) but when I asked they said they didn’t do that anymore. Smelled like cigarette smoke in the room. Stains on the toilet, rings left on the furniture, mold in the tub. The fan in the bathroom was caked so badly with dust that it didn’t work right…. In a pinch it was ok, but I will not be staying there again. The parking garage is “at your own risk” and looks like it came straight out of a horror film.
