The room was dirty, comforters had stains on them and the room was extremely hot with no air running at all when we arrived.

Had a nice stay. If you're allergic to cigarette smoke, probably not a good choice because even in the hallways of the non-smoking rooms, it smelled like smoke. Overall, would stay there again.

Do NOT stay there in winter

It was around the freezing point outside at night. The AC couldn't warm the room. I called the staff. She came in, checked the AC, and said the room was too large to warm. I asked if I could change to another room and she told me every room was like this.

What you'd expect. No more, no less.

This hotel was what you'd expect. The room was clean and comfortable yet nothing special. It's about an hour's drive from here to Gatlinburg.

ok for a one night stay

first room had a broken toilet only other available room with a king bed was handicap accessible room. Quiet room, Hotel is showing age, lobby seems recently redone.

Typical Super 8

Pros: Location and Shoneys Restaurant across the street.
Cons: After cleaning the room test amenities that they function.
Location: This location has me 160 miles from Chattanooga, TN. Now I can arrive there in day light.
Room key is now RF and did not function. Clerk re keyed the RF card and returned with me to open the room. Turned on the TV no reception. Telephoned desk and a tech arrived immediately. Put the TV onto Ch3 and reception restored. I knew of the problem but how to repair? Lastly no hot water. Same tech arrived shortly after checking hot water tank. How water was restored. Minor glitches solved immediately. Staff was courteous and helpful.

I would not recommend this hotel. The bed was uncomfortable, bedspread was dirty. Drafty in the room. Upped the heat then it got cold again. Bathroom was dirty. Yellow "funk" in the tub. Water was cold in the shower. Toilet seat was broke and rocked when you sat on it. Refrigerator was loud when it turned on. When door was closed you could see light on all 4 sides. Luckily it was an interior hallway. The sign out front said remodeled. Obviously our room was not. We go to this area 4-6 times a year will not stay here again. Lighting was dark in the room. The night stand had the same yellow "funk" on it. Very disappointed.
