Room has a big cockroach crawling up to the mattress. breakfast is not attractive. Shuttle to airport is nice and on time, not worth for the money that we paid.

Clean and comfortable

Just here for an overnight prior to a cruise. Staff was pleasant. Not much within walking distance from the hotel and the highway is very busy making crossing the street a bit of a gamble. However, we did find a nice place to eat and there is a large Walgreens very near by for last minute purchases. To be honest, the only thing I care about when I stay at a hotel is cleanliness and this place passed.

Overpriced

We chose this hotel because of the continental breakfast and the free shuttle. When we landed we were told the shuttle was done for the night. When we went for breakfast BOTH tables were full so we went to IHOP. The shuttle driver to the port in the morning was however fantastic- helped a couple to find and print their boarding papers and the only reason I don’t rate the hotel lower.

Great for the $$

Fairly clean. Great for the price. Messed up reservation as far as beds go but not a big deal. Would stay here again.spent one night for flight next morning.

Amazing Manager

Pros: the owners
Location: IHOP, Church's chicken nearby. Dollar store, Walgreens for forgotten items. Not really tourist area
Hotel was clean but older. When the shuttle did not appear at the airport I phoned and was told to take a taxi and they would cover cost - I expected an issue (and the crabby taxi driver is a whole other story) but they promptly gave me the cash including tip. It was late but the manager gave us take out menus for places that delivered and some bottled water to take to the room . We decided to go for a walk and found the Ihop 5 minutes away. The next day he provided more water, help with labelling our luggage and a free shuttle to the cruise port. He refused tips from everyone and only asked we would remember them if booking in the future. Haven't run into service like this in a long time - so to recap - hotel is not grand, area is older, but it was a wonderful experience to meet them

Friendly staffs but need renovation

the owners are friendly and helpful, but the hotel is a bit too old and really need some renovation, and the room cleanliness need to improve. I am paying almost US$200 per night for this room,so I have some expectation.

Convenient to airport and cruiseport

Pros: No question about it, it was the friendliness of the staff and their eagerness to help.
Cons: Obviously a slightly larger variety for breakfast would help overall; but, that isn't realistic given the land parcel where the establishment is
Location: It is on U.S.1 in Dania Beach. There are several restaurants nearby. A casino is about a 20 minute walk. A large mall is about 2 miles away.
Initially, we were concerned about some on line reviews. Upon our arrival, we either found those reviews to be wrong or the hotel had been refurbished. The rooms are not beautiful; but they were clean. The staff would go out of their way to assist you. The lobby is small. Don't expect a breakfast buffet like at some chains.

"What a dump!"

Would you wait 45 mins to an hour for the airport shuttle? Than this is the place for you. Would you like the furnishings in your room to be from 1930? Then this is the place for you.

Bad Everything

Had mistakenly got smoking room Manager refused to change but would do so for extra $20 Room was so smoke- laden I developed a wheeze in my chest. Expedia could not help. My fee was already paid without refund My Health was more important. I left and booked a Holiday inn.

Looked and left

Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Tear it down.
Location: Sketchy. Didnt look safe at all.
VERY sketchy area. DIDNT FEEL SAFE AT ALL. Wife wouldnt even get out of car. Texted Expedia- never acknowledged or answered me. Room did not look clean and smelled. Not using Expedia again!! I guess they dont check these places out. Lost $90 plus dollars but probably worth it.
