Service brilliant. Room 'minimalist'. No coffee/ teas in room and furniture sparse. However, clean, warm and comfortable. Had a TV. No bar or dinner options in hotel itself but a decent pub/ restaurant nearby which serves local dishes and is frequented by locals too. Not upmarket, but good for a decent, uncomplicated meal. Internet hotel free (cable). In warmer months rental bikes in front of hotel. Cash point and bus stop nearby. Location: not brilliant if you do not like cycling, public transport or have not got a car to hand: Hotel in the industrial part of Krems, quite a way out of the city centre. Breakfast: European. Bread with meats and cheeses, some fruit, cereals available. Tea/ coffee available and orange juice but no real variations. Included in price though, which is nice if on a budget. I quite liked the place, but I imagine that those preferring comfort and ease of travel/ convenient location, might disagree.
