Stay away

Posted Sep 6, 2012
Pros: The towels were decent.
This hotel has become a housing unit for the low income. People live long term here. My room - the TV did not work, the air conditioner leaked, the carpet was wet. Leak stains on the ceiling and torn wallpaper on walls. The free breakfast - well, unsurpervised children from the long term residents would clear out all the food taking it in baggies for the rest of the day. The parking lot became a playground for all these children. The broken TV mentioned to the staff but they didn't seem to care. Overall - welcome to THE HOOD!!! Never stay here - it insults the Days Inn chain which are normally very good.

Carpet sticky and dirty, holes in the bed spread, no shampoo, no soap, no trash can. Scary

Pros: Leaving
Cons: Everything
Location: Close to Boston and Cape Ann
This place was absolutely awful. They have a bunch of "live in " guests who are loud amd always outside hanging out with their music, beer and massive amounts of children playing near your cars. We are pretty sure we smelled drugs and even saw drug deals going on. The hotel is run down to put it lightly and although they say they have a pool they do NOT have a usable pool. It is a pool of weeds surrounded by trash such as nasty old shoes and clothing. The internet does not work worth anything. The tv has like 10 channels. You cannot get a microwave or fridge. Breakfast was gross...stale bread and plain donuts. Our toilet did not flush. There was always trash and stagnant water puddles ourside our door. The ice machines barely workes. The staff was not friendly. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!

Not a place for tourists

Posted Jul 16, 2012
Pros: Easy to find and next to Denny's
Cons: The concern for our own safety and worried our car and contents may be harmed.
As soon as we arrived we felt very uneasy. I felt like I was driving into an inner city neighborhood with adults and children hanging around as if they lived there (I think they did). We booked 2 nights but when the police showed up twice during the first night, I knew we had to leave. We did not feel safe.

piscine pas disponible

Posted Jul 9, 2012 on HotelClub

Not a good choice

Posted Jul 7, 2012
Pros: nothing favorite about this hotell
Cons: everyday cleaning consisted of replacing towels and making the bed, no actual cleaning,v acuuming took place that we could see
Location: there were a couple of shopping centers across the street and it was only 4 miles to train station
prior to arrival I sent an e mail to address given asking questions about sites and events and never received a response.Upon arrival discovered there was no pool as advertised on website which was a major reason for choosing this hotel because of the intense heat. Reservation was prepaid so couldnt get money back to go to another hotel and were basically stuck there because we couldnt afford to lose what it cost to stay there 4 nights pllus the cost of another hotel. there was a blood stain on bed sheets from a scab of mine that broke and those sheets were never changed. Upon checking out I inquired about how often the sheets are changed and was told they are clean sheets on arrival and not changed until you leave.Would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone
