I really can't compare to my past stays at this same location as THE MOTEL 6 HOTEL management caused my Expedia reservation at the Danver property to be cancelled for unknown reasons. The only reason we can suspect that our 2 room ONE NIGHT (Friday) reservation was cancelled was so the motel 6 could use our rooms for people wanting at least a 2 or 3 night weekend stay. The motel assistant manager said it was because the location was sold out. Fortunately, since the reservations were made by Expedia they made good on our reservations and found us a better hotel. EXPEDIA even paid the difference from our rate at YOUR location to the substantially increased rate at the better hotel. Expedia made sure we knew they cared about our business. No more Motel 6 for us and we will share our experience on social media.

My reservation was cancelled unbeknownst to me and I didn’t find out about it until 1 hour before check in after I already drove 7.5 hours to be there. Would not recommend.

Cancelled my reservation with no warning and offered no help or guidance upon learning the news after travelling 7 hours... I'll go out of my way to tell people not to stay here or at any other motel 6s

When we got there had a message from the day before that the rooms we had reserved from October of last year was not available got to room had a mattress in a bag on the wall ac didn't work seen bugs in the room only stayed one night left the next morning would never stay there again also had camper on blocks in the parking lock and had several people going in and out of the woods

I walked around in my bare feet for five minutes on the fake hardwood floor and when I wipe the bottom of my feet with a wet washcloth, it came back black filthy, dirty disgusting. Check in clerk was miserable.

Horrible is all I can say. No fridge, microwave even though i put one in reservation. The shower broke down. Stench of smoke and asked for non smoking room.

Pool was closed!!!!
The pool was CLOSED for maintenance on July 4th weekend????? That’s crap!!! It was quiet but it’s very old! Seems a lot of homeless there too.

I was told I was given an "upgraded room." The "upgraded room" smelled strongly of marijuana (I was told it was a non-smoking room). The vents on the air conditioner were smashed. There was trash all over the balcony. There was a sticky substance all over the floor. Gross.

You get what you lay for
Get what you pay for. Staff was nice enough, room was bare bones but the floor was dirty and sticky. Nothing like the pictures. Overall it was fine for a place to crash, what do you expect for the price

Avoid, cheap for a reason
Hotel was grotty. Cigarette burns on the bath, Reception man was very rude, talking in another language to someone else whilst checking me in. Hotel stank of cigarette smoke, pool was out of order. Only one pillow each, asked for more but was told they were ‘locked away’. Avoid this hotel. Pay a little extra and get somewhere cleaner and better

Very run down, dirty floors and two hard pillows on a king size bed. The bathroom was filthy, one towel, no shampoo, conditioner or anything. The tv was bolted to the wall and there was no remote control. There was no phone, and only one overhead light worked. It was old and like a homeless shelter. At least it was quiet. The elevator was stinky, smelled of urine and drugs. I apologized to my dog for bringing him there. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I stayed in room 301 and there was no ac the thermostat on the wall didn't work there was no soap in the bathroom so I could shower and there was only 2 towels in the bathroom and the water was rusty

this place looks clean and nice in the pics however, once inside it smells terrible in the stairways, the elevators and laundry room. The bathtub in our room was nasty and you couldn't shut the water off so it ran all night long. Also one reason i booked this room was it had an indoor pool. This is not the case. the pool has been closed for sometime now and needing repairs but this was not mentioned at all. overall not a place i would recommend or would stay at again.

Worst hotel experience ever. Totally different as it shows in the pictures. I booked for two nights and has to check out next day. Deteriorated bedroom. Bad smell everywhere. “Pet friendly” was not advertised. By the look of all the surrounding, the premise is been used as homeless shelter.

Improved, but still a way to go
I have made a number of complaints over the years about this location, but continue to use it because of the location. I must say that this time it was much improved, recent repainting, etc. Not perfect by any means however. The repeated loud barking of a next door dog didn't help!

The only reason we stayed here was to use the pool because we were going to have all of Saturday evening there..... we were very excited to use the indoor pool.... it wasn't open and there was nothing when we booked it stating it was closed. Very disappointed and unhappy with hotels .com for not being aware of this

Accommodations were fine. BUT this reservation was made AND PAID IN ADVANCE for an employee but when he tried to check in they have no record of the reservation. And he had to pay out of his own pocket!! I am NOT happy!!!

Normal hotel items are not available to anyone that stays here except only if you pay more for your room. Really, how much more would we be charged for a 50 cent tube of shampoo and conditioner? Shame on you Motel 6. If i could rate negative 5 i would !!
