Lot's of railroad noise.

Pros: Stay is nice and the breakfast is good.
Cons: See my message above. Get the railroad to stop the horns at night.
Location: We visit Indianapolis so it is just a stay over.
We have stayed at this hotel before and liked it so we stayed again on February 17, 2017. This time it was terrible. There was activity on the railroad switching area all night and THEY USED THEIR HORNS ALL NIGHT. I can't believe there isn't a city ordinance in effect to stop this. There are 8-10 hotels all in this area so it must be a problem for all of them. I couldn't keep our room cool either.

Staff was very nice. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Would stay again. What I would expect from the hotel brand.

Untruthful manager.

I had constant banging on my ceiling from children above me jumping off their bed or so it seemed such that I could not even hear the TV for literally 4 hours. I notified the manager (a young lady) 6 times. 2 times on the phone and 4 times personally. I find out on attempt 6 that she never talked to the occupants above me. I took matters into my own hands and went to the room with the manager quickly in tow. One conversation from me and the issue was resolved at 11:00 p.m. Extremely upset with the manager who lied.

The hotel is nice, but the location is bad. All of the restaurants are a good 10-15 minutes away.

Romance Happiness

This was a "romantic" getaway! (which we did not inform the front desk of) Upon checking into the room, we found a note from the maid service that said, "Enjoy your evening!" We giggled thinking how perfect the note was! It was such a nice touch even if it was not personally for us! We left a note saying we had a great weekend!
