A nice place to spend the night

Pros: Cleanliness is the most important aspect of any lodging in which I stay, and the standard was met here. The bathroom was especially sparkling clean.
Cons: If this motel was a Ritz-Carlton I would make some recommendations for improvement, but for the price of the room and the location it was top-notch.
Location: There is very little to do in the immediate area. Within walking distance are several good fast food places and a Ruby Tuesday that was very popular.
I checked in later and checked out earlier than most, so just needed a clean, safe place to sleep. This motel was just what I was looking for. I checked other reviews and agree with the good ones. There are a few friendly outside cats which adds a sense of home to the place as I am an animal lover. I was in a rush to leave for an event, but the breakfast looked very nice though not lavish, and there was a group enthusiastically chowing down at 7 am. The lobby is clean and inviting and provided a good first impression of the place. Overall, it looks like management is making a good effort to run an very nice motel, which for the price of the room was a great value and even better than what I expected.

Nice Stop-Over

Pros: Cleanliness
It was a convenient stop over on our way home. Its proximity to I-95 and to fuel and restaurants made it a great stop for us. the staff was warm and friendly. The room was clean , comfortable as was the hotel. We'd stop again.

Just stopped off highway for a few hours. Man at front desk was polite and professional. Beds were comfortable but the room seemed poorly thrown together. It was half the advertised size with broken curtains, visible plywood and a cold shower. Maybe it's a work in progress as the name of the hotel was thrown over the old sign with a banner. We should have gone little further.

New carpet, fresh paint and lots of Febreze -- that's about it. And don't stay for the breakfast.

Booked through hotels.com. Arrived later in evening and found old carton of "silk milk alternative in refrigerator and room smelled stale and was not real clean. Checked out at 2AM after discovering bed bugs. Took examples to desk clerk to show manager. Apologies were received after I called manager next day to check on what was being done. He assured me room was being cleaned and exterminator was coming. Was very disappointed and will not return. Refund from hotels.com being processed.
