"Let me start off with very clean room and very friendly staff. Parking a plus felt safe all the time. The room had no fancy frills, but a super comfortable bed. Nothing to complain about there. A double plus having Stamford diner right there a walk away. Prices are pricey, but good food and convenient.. Overall, a very pleasant stay for a week."

"I stayed here in order to visit Teddy Roosevelt’s Sagamore Hill. The hotel’s decor is charming, especially if you’re a Burt Bacharach fan. Staff were helpful and courteous, and several good restaurants are within a very short walking distance. The only downside is that it’s easy to hear activity in the adjacent rooms, but fortunately, I had quiet neighbors (YMMV)."

"I needed an inexpensive stay, and the price here was right, but you get what you pay for. Very outdated property and room. No frills. I take a big issue with the lack of security as a solo female traveler. There was no chain or any solid lock for the door. You could see a good half inch of light coming from the bottom of the door to the hallway. The walls are paper thin—I could clearly hear the people in the adjoining rooms as if they were inside my room. No bedside outlets. Outdated old furniture. Peeling walls and dinged tables. Old lamps. Like 1991. Scratchy bedding. Got what I paid for though. "

"Hotel grounds were nicely kept, but it seemed like the room hadn’t been looked at in a while. Lots of dust on the vents and the shower/tub had a real hard time draining. Staff at the front desk couldn’t provide me a bandaid and the bonvoy app wasn’t working which makes ordering food difficult. One day I was connected to person who took my order over the phone and delivered something close to what I ordered. The second day I called and then said it wasn’t possible to order on the phone but then connected me to a different number that went to voicemail. I was also really surprised to see that there was delivery fee for room service. I’m already paying to stay and for the rooms service. I’ve never seen a delivery fee for room service before. It made a cup of tea an $11 purchase which is wild. That’s a bigger delivery fee than most restaurants in the area."

"Great stay with helpful staff and excellent location. Free parking and breakfast included can't be beat for the location and cost. Would definitely stay again."
