In the middle of the CBD

Posted Jul 28, 2017
Location: "The Cav" pub is just down the road which is good for a few drinks
Hotel is fine. Its slightly on the run down side but is clean and quiet and has a nice and needed pool

Excellent restaurant and pool facilities

Posted Jul 25, 2017
Pros: Location and pool.
Cons: Not much
Location: Good location; close to shops, cinema complex and hop on hop off bus stop. Easy to navigate your way around from this location.
We enjoyed our time at the Darwin Travelodge Resort and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

So close to all shops, restaurants.

Posted Jul 16, 2017
Pros: Staff so friendly. Right in the city area. Great deal. Breakfast was really good.
Cons: Maybe bathroom could be updated a bit. Shower floor slippery when wet.
Location: Go to Mitchell Street for dinner. Crocorsaurus Cove 2 blocks away. Woolworths across the road and car hire places all near by.
Staff were great, so close to everything you need. Loved the pool area and rooms were clean and tidy every day. Would definitely go back there and recommend it.

Nice hotel in center of city

Posted Jul 11, 2017
Very nice hotel in easy walking distance to the shopping centers, esplanade and waterfront wharf shops and restaurants. Staff is also very friendly and helpful. When we first arrived, the air conditioner in our room was quite noisy. When we brought it to their attention, they first had maintenance look at it, then moved us to a better room. Much appreciated!

Nice hotel close to everything.

Posted Jul 7, 2017
Pros: Nice pool. Friendly staff.
Cons: Update rooms and cleaning could be improved.
Location: Close to shops and restaurants. Bus stop out the front.
A little disappointed at the cleanliness of rooms they are a bit dated. The fire alarm went off a few times in the middle of the night being a false alarm, it continued to happen. Wifi slow. TVs very old.

Never again

Posted Jul 5, 2017
Pros: Closeness to city, parking OK.
Cons: Refurbishness of the room.
Location: Location was great and there were plenty of things to do in the city and immediate surrounds.
Room was very tired and needed alot of work. Fixtures & fittings were falling away from walls, mould in bathroom both in vanity and shower, shower curtain too short and flooded the bathroom, constant buzzing from clothes cupboard, but couldn't find it, fridge went on automatic defrost and flooded entrance floor. No fly screens on windows. The images on the web did not live up to our expectations.

New but cheap feel.

fairly new place but ants every where in the room and cheaply built. Toilet hard up against shower so you sit with your knees against the glass. reasonable value, clean, but not really a resort that you would come with the family. Kind of upmarket caravan park type accomodation.

Pros: Close to main street
Cons: Improve tiles in rooms and upgrade bathrooms. ? shower curtains are terrible. Have a toaster in rooms. Skycity have and its great. Change coffee
Location: Very central. Good walking distance to most activities
Security in facility terrible. Tiles in room and particularly shower very slippery. A fall waiting to happen.

Central location, but can't leave window open at night as no fly screen. Bed great.
