The Alatai is centrally located and walking distance to the city and Stokes Hill Wharf. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we would recommend and stay again.

Value for money option. A little out of the city but still walkable. Not mann dining options close by. Property is dated and needs some TLC however the bed was comfortable and rooms were clean and comfortable enough.

Just expected a basic accommodation. But was way more than that!! Staff was welcoming and pleasant. Room had aircon turned on when entering. Very thoughtful on a hot day. Could find no fault while staying. Looking forward staying again next in Darwin!!!! Thank you

Daisy went above and beyond to help me organise my stay, activities and transport on arrival, after hours check in is safe and easy to use. Easy walking distance to bus stops and town. Very impressed that my room had a washing machine and dryer IN IT and it wasn't just access to a laundry room/service. I will definitely be returning next time. The shower is a bit of a tight squeeze to access which may explain why it didn't appear very clean, or maybe the grout just needs updating, otherwise quite clean and comfortable.

Good apartment with plenty of room and not expensive. Good to have a small kitchen and fridge. Rooms get serviced each day except Sunday which is good. Parking is available so you don’t have to park on the street.

Not worth the price. Booked for 3 nights and had to extend an extra night. The extra 1 night cost me almost twice the rate I had paid for the previous nights. Drunks screaming at 3am when they couldn’t get into their room. Rubbish bags, dirty socks laying around the grounds. Young people obviously selling drugs and not trying to hide it. Broken ammenities. You could hear everything happening in the room next door. Horrible.

Shower tap handle comes off when showering, fans are old and wobbly, curtain rail came off completely when trying to open curtains, cannot switch aircon on main bedroom on/off with the remote so had to use switch at distribution board, no egg lifter.

A very dirty, run down, poorly maintained play to stay. We found hair in the beds, the place stunk. Nothing worked and were awoken by the other “regular” patrons. Will never ever stay ever stay again.
