This property is in desperate need of upgrading!!! The hallways smelled heavily of perfume, the ceilings were low and of material you'd find in a some sort of of community meeting hall. The door frames were chipped and the door security latches were very flimsy. Add to that, our room overlooked the storage area and fans supplying air to the common areas and pool, which is indoors. When I looked out, I saw staff workers having a smoke on their break. The night we were there was a quiet weeknight, and yet, they didn't seem to want to put their best foot forward and give us a room with a better view, at least! Perhaps I should have lodged a request for a better room, but we were tired after a day of driving, and wanted to unwind. The restaurant was also dark and in need of updating. Fortunately, the food was not too bad. Breakfast the next morning was standard for this type of facility, though the fruit had an off-taste, suggesting it was beyond its best serve date. Fortunately, the beds were comfortable and we got a good nights sleep in spite of these conditions.

We just finished renovating all of our bathrooms and completely renovated our Lounge. We have more renovations planned, but unfortunately they cannot all be done concurrently. I am sorry that your room did not have a better view. If we would have known, we gladly would have moved your room. Thank you again for staying with us.

Clean room - moldy bread

Friendly staff and clean, quiet, spacious room. The comfort of the bed was average, but sufficient for an overnight stay. The only detail that was disturbing was at the hot breakfast. We found mold on the bread that was served for toasting. We alerted the staff and they quickly removed it. But it was kind of gross since the entire loaf was unbagged and placed in a clear plastic serving drawer. Had it been in their a long time or had they just missed it when transferring?

nice stay

Pros: comfortable
Cons: have potatoes with breakfast and make eggs less well done
Location: everything you want is nearby
pool and food was great--area is very nice nice room nice location

Overall the experience was great. We've stayed here several times. All the staff were very friendly and helpful! The only negative was when we got into our room it looked like there was a small area of ?blood on the wall and while we were moving the bed to look for something we lost, there was a large trail of bed bug powder or something similar along the wall at the head of the bed. I wasn't sure quite what to think about that!

I did a Seminar here and the help from Josie and both ladies at the front desk couldn't have done enough!!! Food was great to!! Christine the barmaid is a hoot!!
