Great Location & Amenities

Pros: Location & Parking
We came into town without a reservation for the night and lucked out! We were able to get a room on a busy weekend that had everything we needed. The hotel is downtown and convenient to everything. We will stay here again when we come visit our daughter at school.

Good place to stay in Davis

Noisy, with Roaches

Any hotel that gives you earplugs on the nightstand... Run. It may not seem bad at the moment but just wait. We checked in and I was dismayed to see scaffolding in the lobby. The parking garage had dropcloths and other constuction items. We entered the room and I noticed the marble slab countertop did not align with the back of the counter, the large gap behind the sink was unsightly, like a poorly or undone renovation. Well, whatever, so it's not exactly perfect, right? I was so tired that night nothing disturbed me... until 5 AM Sunday morning. Who was bowling? Was someone moving all the furniture out of their room? A kettlebell workout in progress, my husband said. Noisy and prolonged, I got up to start my day. Get into the bathroom about 6 AM to find a couple roaches staring back at me from the back wall between the toilet and the shower. ICK! My husband said don't make a big fuss. Well I wish I hadn't listened to him. We spent over $190.00 for one night in this room, Unfinished, Noisy and Bug infested. What a horrible place. No concern from management, never heard back from them regarding our experience. STAY FAR AWAY

Nicer than I expected for a Best Western in Davis, CA. Newly remodeled modern style.
