stayed for a bike race the next morning--was quite dirty with peeling paint, hair in the bathroom, bathroom smelled like urine, room smelled like cigarettes

Basic driving trip.......1 night stay.

Old tired Super 8 motel with old tired room. Not worth $107 per night!

Room was clean but had a funny smell. Bed was ok. WiFi was very slow

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!

We requested non-smoking and got it. The problem is smoking rooms are right next to "non-smoking " rooms and everything smells.There were also cigarette burns in the bedspread of our "non-smoking" room. Other issues: - tissue box was empty when we checked in & never replaced. -toilet paper was not even on the holder but was set on the sink. -Carpeting was filthy. There was so much dust and dirt on the towel bar that you could tell the only way it got dusted was inadvertently when they hung the towels on it. Yuck. -We were given one tiny bar of soap for both the sink and tub. Really? -Tradesmen/construction workers were staying there. That was not a problem. The problem was that a group of 6 or 8 of them would hang out near the back door outside in the late afternoons smoking (like the inside wasn't smelly enough) and drinking beer. You literally had to walk through the group to get in the building. Management should NOT have allowed that. -Husband went down to "breakfast" the second morning. Choices were a bagel and either Raisin Bran or Frosted Flakes. Period. -When we were leaving the motel, we went down the stairs ( our room was on the 2nd floor) carrying bags. A member of the housekeeping staff was sitting on the top stair on her cell phone. She did not move or offer to.As a result I almost fell but managed to catch myself on the banister. No effort to move. No apology. Just a blank stare. So odd.

Hotel was dirty, the nonsmoking room had been smoked in and then sprayed with citrus air freshener and the breakfast was a joke.

Close to GSSF Match

Fairly close to the GSSF match. This time I got a refurbished room which was a little cramped with all the furniture. Unfortunately, there was an unpleasant odor in the room that did not go away all three nights. . Free, quick breakfast was a plus.
