Dumpy Hotel

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Hire certified construction companies to redo EVERYTHING.
The Comfort Inn in Dayton, OH is under renovation and I got "lucky" to be put into a recently renovated room. It was a joke. I happen to be in construction and could not believe how shoddy the work was. I was so disgusted by the room I didn't even take a shower - slept and left. The only reason I picked this hotel was because I had stayed at the Comfort Inn in Big Stone Gap, VA the two nights prior and it was absolutely wonderful! You would never know these two hotels were part of the same chain. I will never stay at this dump of a hotel again.

Room was nice and looked refreshed but not the same for bathroom... curious as to why not go the extra mile and update all? All the same would stay here again. it was very clean and quiet and reasonably priced.

They are doing renovations, which are needed. Nothing worth writing home about, but nothing bad to say.

Quiet and Clean

Cons: Nothing
Location: We were only 3 miles from the Fun Center of my nephew's birthday party. Very convenient.
Everything was easy for check-in. Got our room assignment and key...very quickly. Returned to the hotel at about 9 pm. It was quiet and clean. We went right off to bed...not a peep was heard. Breakfast at 8:30 am nice variety. Staff were friendly and accessible. Great stay!

They kept pounding on my door waking me up

Pros: Nice, pool, friendly front desk guy
Cons: Why knock on people's doors at 8:30am then come back when do not disturb sign is on the door ?
Location: waffle house, perkins, meijer, el toro, steak & shake
I have a do not disturb sign, working until 6am every morning They don't care and knock on my door anyway, guess I'm going somewhere else

The hotel carpets appeared not to have been vacuum

I had reserved 2 rooms. One king suite and one double. The room was ok if you just want to sleep. There are no chairs to sit and relax. Just 1 cumputer desk chair for 2 people to use. The bath towel smelled liked dust. In the double room the towels were visibly dirty and the room had clothes from previous guest on the floor beside the bed.

Their pool was close

I choose this hotel and paid extra around 30$ because of pool and jacuzzi, unfortunately their pool and jacuzzi was close. Otherwise like this hotels without pool and jacuzzi was available for 25$ - 30$ cheaper

Sorry for you incontinence about pool. But from tomorrow 12.30.16 we are going to open it with all renovated , and new looks. We have Jacuzzi rooms for our guest who want to get that.
