Very friendly staff. But hotel rooms need updated.

Hotel rooms definitely need updated. Hotel staff was very friendly. Pool is very small. Breakfast was nice.

Close to event location

Pros: Location
Cons: Breakfast area and breakfast. Replace used furniture and do preventive maintenance.
Location: Right in the middle of restaurants and other venues.
Chair in room was very used, pieces coming off of it. AC/Heat unit not working. Shower control not working well. The breakfast the eggs were burnt, waffle iron not working well . not enough room at breakfast area. area not attended very well.

Quiet, clean, great pool and breakfast.

Pros: Delivered on the promises. The pool truly is appealing, clean and worth getting into.
Location: Walkably c Close to chain restaurants and basic needs shopping. Quiet despite being centrally located for area shopping via automobiles.
Lived up to and went beyond expectations. Staff was gracious and welcoming. This is our family go to place based on lots of experiences. We enjoyed the lobby reading area and fireplace during our visit.

Interesting Location

Pros: Great service. Helpful and friendly staff. Clean rooms.
Cons: The parking lot lights in the front of the hotel are really bright and shine directly into the rooms in the front of the building.
Location: We were there to visit family. Nearby are several options for shopping and eating.
We try and stay at Country Inns and Suites whenever we can. The chain is consistently clean, well managed, helpful, and reasonable. The location of this hotel is interesting. It is easy access to Highway 68. The entrance to the hotel property is tricky, easiest is through the seafood restaurant parking lot. There are several restaurants within walking distance. Stay in the room facing the back of the hotel if you are light sensitive. The parking lot lights are very bright and light up every room in the front.

Nice mid level hotel

Pros: Put all family on the same floor and on the same end, the fact they started breakfast a whole hour earlier just for us. The room was clean.
Cons: Just change the seat at the desk, add a outlet that will let you charge your cell phone with a USB outlet.
Location: Springfield, OH there's plenty of shopping and restaurants, such as bay breeze they give you a lot of seafood for the money
We were in town for a funearly and stayed here the staff not only was warm and friendly they were very sympathetic to the death in the family. They put all of the family on one floor at one end which was great, this was done without asking. When we all were checking out at 5 am the staff started breakfast for us at that time when it normally starts at 6 am. This act of kindness will make me stay there the next time we travel to Springfield Ohio.

Great hotel, except no NFL channel

Would have rated it a 5, but they do not have the NFL channel on TV. The night I stayed there in Springfield, Ohio, the Browns were playing the Bengals, shown only on the NFL channel. Unfortunately, hotels.com cancellation policy would not me cancel this reservation, and change to another one.

Great value for an overnight stay

Pros: Breakfast selections
Cons: A little more middle of the road pillow firmness.
Location: Was just staying overnight for a college visit at Wittenberg.
This stay was a great value compared to the cost of other hotels these days. The morning breakfast was very good with a few more selections than you normally see. The rooms and the overall hotel were clean. The pillows were not to my taste (I am very picky-usually bring my own) but the bed was nice and firm. Under the same circumstances, I would not hesitate to use this chain.
