Construction Inconvenience

The first floor was under construction resulting in some inconvenience. The on/off control knob for the shower broke preventing the morning shower. The staff responded quickly allowing us to use the facilities in an unoccupied room nearby. It was handled promptly and professionally minimizing the inconvenience.

Nice hotel.

Pros: Quiet. Close to restaurants.
The only problems we encountered were the room had a smell to it and the fan in the bathroom was extremely noisy

Northern hotel with a bit of Southern hospitality

A wonderful atmosphere. I have stayed here for the past 4-6 weeks for business every other week and the staff are very friendly and hospitable. The breakfast is good. The amenities are nice. It has been a great "home away from home" for me while I have been working. Safe location.

Comfy beds and pillows. Clean rooms. Very nice staff. Fast easy checkout. All around great hotel!!

Horrible

We booked our stay with this hotel expecting a exciting nice comfortable weekend. In stead when we approached the hotel Stella informed me that I could not use cash for my four day stay. Mind you I had already booked this a head clicking on the site that i was paying with cash. I drove five hours to arrive at 8 pm for her to turn me and my three small children away. I explained I was out of state she said there was nothing she could do. I explained I would put a deposit down. Still nothing then I asked to speak with a manager hoping to clear it up instead Stella states that it would be a bother to her manager Jamie if she called. There would be nothing she could do. She hinted to stay in the car until the bank opened the next day. Are you kidding me. A joke of a hotel. As for the hotel next door the Fairfield Marriott is were we stayed and plan to stay in the future.

Pros: Staff was nice, friendly, helpful.
Cons: Update rooms.
Okay, basic hotel in need of an update. Beds had no mattress pads and sheets kept coming off all night. Room temperature was impossible to regulate - either too hot or too cold. Breakfast was just okay - very simple and basic. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean overall. It's situated on a back alley behind multiple businesses that have gone belly up, which probably accounts for why the rates are pretty cheap here.

Nice stay

Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Heating/cooling unit
Good bed, friendly staff, clean pool, free breakfast and parking. The biggest negative to me is the heating/cooling unit. It is a box unit under the window, and these units are always difficult to climate control.
