Very welcoming!

Posted Nov 7, 2016
Location: Plenty of places to eat, even within walking distance.
When checking in, the hotel clerk gave each of us a "welcome" bag that contained things possibly needed but not packed (eg. bottle water, fruit snacks, chips, etc.) A very nice touch! The room was clean, the hotel was quiet, and the free breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stay there again!

Not a place I would recommend to anyone

Posted Jul 7, 2016
Pros: Location.
Cons: Room cleanliness. Staff friendliness. Neither were things I experienced in this hotel.
Location: The hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants and shopping.
My room was not vacuumed at all during my stay. When I told the front desk staff about that, she said she didn't know what the vacuuming schedule is supposed to be. The refrigerator was dirty and had mold growing in it. Again, the front desk staff was not apologetic and simply stated it shouldn't be that way. One day the room service (which only included a change of towels, no vacuuming) didn't get done until after 4:30 pm. And once again, the front desk staff was not apologetic. She merely said that it had been a rough day. Not a hotel I would recommend to anyone based on my experience.

The hotel is standard middle of the road business accommodations. The carpets could use some updating (an "old" smell seemed to permeate the building). Mattresses were rather hard, but you can tell that they've done updating to keep it in step. Wifi was very slow, but it was free. They did not have security on it, so watch out for viruses and other problematic hitchhikers. The lack of security made it almost unusable for business purposes due to restrictions on accessing of email. This would be a simple fix and helpful to business travelers.

Great continental breakfast. Excellent hotel customer service and hospitality, especially to children. Bathrooms are small as well as the indoor pool. Perfect location for restaurants and local supermarkets.

Do not expect this is a "standard" Fairfiled Inn,

Posted Apr 16, 2016 on Hotels
It was obvious that the hotel was not originally built as Fairfield Inn and bit aged. This location may also be a bit short handed as no one at the front desk every time. There was no bell to tell a guest was waiting so that I had to wait for a while until an associate showed up from the back office. People were friendly, anyway.
