Not a place I would recommend to anyone

Pros: Location.
Cons: Room cleanliness. Staff friendliness. Neither were things I experienced in this hotel.
Location: The hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants and shopping.
My room was not vacuumed at all during my stay. When I told the front desk staff about that, she said she didn't know what the vacuuming schedule is supposed to be. The refrigerator was dirty and had mold growing in it. Again, the front desk staff was not apologetic and simply stated it shouldn't be that way. One day the room service (which only included a change of towels, no vacuuming) didn't get done until after 4:30 pm. And once again, the front desk staff was not apologetic. She merely said that it had been a rough day. Not a hotel I would recommend to anyone based on my experience.

Do not expect this is a "standard" Fairfiled Inn,

It was obvious that the hotel was not originally built as Fairfield Inn and bit aged. This location may also be a bit short handed as no one at the front desk every time. There was no bell to tell a guest was waiting so that I had to wait for a while until an associate showed up from the back office. People were friendly, anyway.

enjoyable stay

we had an enjoyable stay at the Fairfield Inn in Fairborn,ohio. We especially liked the continental breakfast that included biscuits and gravy and scrambled eggs. Waffles were also included along with boiled eggs and bread,bagels and english muffins. very nice place to stay.

Convenient and safe

Pros: A good value in a safe location.
Location: every type of restaurant and shopping nearby, close to Fairfield Commons mall
This hotel was clean and comfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I like being able to have the fan running without heat or cool and their unit allowed that. It was also very convenient to every type of restaurant or shopping you would need. Within 25 minutes of downtown Dayton in a safe neighborhood will keep me coming back here. I think the room was a good value. The bed was especially comfortable with several pillows of differing thickness.
