This hotel is very old, dirty and run down. They are apparently under new ownership and being renovated but that is no excuse for dirty and broken. We move 3 times and eventually were given the penthouse suit, which had dirty vents, ripped and dirty furniture, exposed light fixtures, electrical issues, broken drapery and stink bugs (NOT bed bugs though). Dust fell on my bed every time the heat came on! Only some outlets worked and at one time we had no working outlets and only cold water for showers. Bright side: The front desk staff was very nice and tried to be helpful. They never treated me with distain and I never blamed them for the state of the rooms. However, after 3 rooms, I can see it's the best they have at this time. I'd give this hotel a single star or half a star right now. I couldn't move hotels because the rate was non-refundable and I couldn't afford to just walk away. We had to make the best of it.

We will be spending our winter making this property sparkle again. We'd love to see you again when you're back in town so we can have a second chance at a 5 Star impression.
