Pros: Close to restaurants and freeway
Location: Fix the place up. Get the mold out of the pool area
We were in town for a soccer tournament and mis-read the schedule Saturday and accidentally checked out earlier than we needed to. There was a male staff member working the front desk (younger white guy) who brought us Gatorade and water while we waited in the lobby area. He didn't have to do this and I was touched by his kindness. I didn't catch his name unfortunately but it was 10/23 around 11:00 a.m. There was some work going on in the hotel and it looked like it needed it. The facility overall is a bit tired. Mold in pool area. I expected a room with 2 queen size beds to a little bigger. There was zero room to move around and with four of us it was very cramped. The AC in the room wasn't working.

Stop while travelingPosted Jul 9, 2015 on Hotels
This hotel was a stop on our way. We needed rest and a shower. Several places to eat and the complimentary breakfast was appreciated.

"Tipp City" great stop off 75 at this Holiday InnPosted Jun 25, 2015 on Hotels
Great team at the desk always makes the extra effort. For a small town, Tipp City, there are great restaurants in town. I always try to stay at this Holiday inn but it is often jammed. too close to the airport lots of crews . Great team up front

Terrible Hotel experience.Posted Jun 16, 2015
This hotel was under construction for remodeling, room was filthy, furniture was uncomfortable, front desk staff was rude. The hostess working the breakfast bar was very friendly, helpful and very pleasant and she deserves a raise. The hotel stay was a horrible experience!!!!!!! Only 2 small towels in bathroom when arrived:(

Totally Unsatisfactory StayPosted Apr 22, 2015 on Hotels
Regarding our stay April 19th at the Holiday Inn Express in Huber Heights, Ohio. My wife an I were awakened three times during the night by false alarms. By the time of the third false alarm (circa 3:30am, we decided to pack up and leave knowing that the problem had not been solved. When we got home, I called Steve West, the General Manager. He was not available so I left our call back number. We have not heard back from him. Frankly, because our stay was wholly unsatisfactory, I would like a refund for the night's "stay." We paid $107.59. If Holiday Inn expects my continued patronage, I expect to hear back from you with an explanation for the poor service and lack of response from Steve West, the hotel's General Manager. Thank you. A little disappointing...Posted Apr 21, 2015 on Hotels
I have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express hotels in the past but this one did not measure up. This hotel is currently under renovation due to what looks were exterior moisture issues. There were also a number of little issues like no shampoo in the room and none available in the whole hotel. There was no hot water one morning and then the water to the hotel was completely turned off as they made a repair. Which was all good but not what I had expected during my weekend stay. Also, the mattresses were old and not very comfortable. The final morning the breakfast area was completely chaotic and had run out of pretty much everything. I checked out and went elsewhere.
